Marina is not feeling well this evening. Side effect of being hired to expend almost all her energy to cover for Alex last night.

At the store-house/house-store location, in the back room, there she was on the floor with a chalked ouija board. Looking like hell.
Some of the design down on the floor was a black instead of chalked. She had 2 little ones there on the makeshift board.
The establishment was a store like an antique and jewelry shop, connected to a house. The store had no keeper at the time :-) On the way in, just outside of peripheral vision was a lady opening a jewelry case and taking out something, then she left.
Back behind the counter was a door, going in to the back room there, the witch was observed and right away someone who doesn't like what she does, grabbed a big burlap sack and stuffed her inside of it. He's a lot taller than she is, and at the time she had almost no energy left.
He grabbed a cast-iron skillet there and then beat the sack until the sack stopped moving. Then he tied it up with rope.
At that point an "old red-neck lookin' man" came in to "get some fertilizer". So they took the sack, dumped it in the back of his pickup, and he left.
The one who neutralized the witch got the little ones from the back room to safety. Costly move on their part. High risk. Failed.
Remember some days ago we talked about Marina being on the target list? Do you think she believes she was "chosen" to "help" because she was "the best"? They are not in control.
