Mexican Army Kills 12 Suspected Cartel Members In Shootout Near Texas Border

According to the security department of Tamaulipas, the state that includes Miguel Alemán, Mexican troops were "attacked by armed civilians" around 2 p.m. local time. A shootout ensued, which saw the 12 gunmen killed.

A government source told AFP that the attackers were alleged members of a drug cartel. In responding to the assailants, the troops used military drones and a helicopter.

Authorities recovered a dozen rifles, as well as cartridges and magazines "of various calibers" following the shootout.

The University of Texas notes that the state of Tamaulipas is home to the Gulf Cartel, which has operated in the region for nearly 100 years trafficking drugs, and which controls the border cities of Matamoros and Reynosa.

The border state of Tamaulipas, and the township of Miguel Alemán, have been among the most impacted by organized crime and violence in Mexico. In September, several Americans were caught in the crossfire during a shooting between rival drug cartels in Miguel Alemán. Seven people were hurt after gunmen approached cars on the bridge between the Mexican city and Roma, and opened fire. Months earlier, in March of 2023, four Americans were kidnapped in the city of Matamoros in Tamaulipas near the southernmost tip of the Texas border. They were roadtripping to the country for cosmetic surgery. Two died and two survivors were found and returned to the United States. The Scorpions faction of the Gulf Cartel later apologized for the kidnapping and turned over the five members said to be involved to authorities. -Forbes

In July, 27 bodies were found in Reynosa in unmarked graves.

Mexico has counted more than 420,000 murders and 110,000 disappearances since the launch of a controversial military anti-drug offense which began in 2006.

Pelosi Goes On Unhinged Rant About Trump Being 'Blackmailed' By Putin

Appearing on MSNBC with Democrat mouthpiece Jen Psaki, the pair claimed Trump is a “fanboy” of Putin and that he “encourages” Putin to invade NATO countries.

“Putin is among the top three or four evil people in the world,” Pelosi ranted, before stating “What does he have on Donald Trump that he has to be constantly catering to Putin?”

She went on to claim that Trump, whose name she struggled to remember, has “brought disgrace,” to the White House and “didn’t consider it an honour” to serve as President or take seriously the oath to defend the Constitution.

“He is a person without values,” Pelosi further whined, adding “he looks like he’s going to be a person without dollars either,” gloating about the clearly political indictments against Trump.

“I don’t know what [Putin] has on him, but it’s probably financial, or something on the come, something he expects to get,” Pelosi hissed.

She also claimed that Trump is “telling Putin to go into these countries, NATO countries,” without saying what countries she was referring to, adding that “NATO is there to stop Russia, to keep Russia out.”

Ukraine is not a part of NATO.

The Missing Crossfire Hurricane Binder: President Trump Demanded its Contents Be Released – The FBI Wants It Hidden from the American Public and Will Do Anything to Prevent Its Release

President Trump declassified a binder on January 19th, 2021.

The now infamous binder contains hundreds of pages about the Crossfire Hurricane scandal. It contains damaging information about the corrupt actors involved in our government. Two different DOJ Attorney General’s have defied President Trump’s direct lawful order to publish the binder in the Federal Register. It’s been over three years now, and the DOJ continues to defy the presidential order and every FOIA request to make it public. Can we now raid the homes of former acting AG Monty Wilkinson, and current AG Merrick Garland?

You can still find the link to this memorandum of declassification here.

The DOJ had already made redactions to protect sources and methods, and returned the binder back to the White House before Trump left office. But the corrupt FBI also wanted to hide names of those involved in the scandal. So, at the last minute, the DOJ demanded the binder comply with the 1974 Privacy Act. The Act requires any “agency” that releases records to also hide personal or identifiable name information. The DOJ knew this Act didn’t apply to the White House, it was a stall tactic. The courts decided this 22 years ago that the Privacy Act was based on FOIA requests, and the White House is not an agency.

Declassified J6 FBI Emails Reveal Private Emails of Top FBI Agents Discussing Julian Assange’s Trial

The FBI Vault has declassified internal emails of FBI agents on the days leading up to January 6th.

Most of the internal emails among FBI agents were discussions of the planned protests that were to occur on January 6th.

On the 87th page of the newly released documents, it was revealed FBI special agent Christine O’Neill sent an email regarding Wiki Leaks Founder Julian Assange’s extradition case to Stacey R. Moy, who serves as Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division.

In the email, O’Neill wrote, “Just making sure you saw this update. WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange cannot be extradited to the U.S. to face espionage charges, U.K. Court rules.”

O’Neill then attached an ABC article that was covering Assange’s trial

Special Agent Moy, who was the first to announce Assange’s second superseding indictment in 2020, replied: “Yep, thanks, disappointing but not surprised given everything in this case.”

At the time of this writing, Julian Assange’s attorneys are in a UK court beginning their final attempt to prevent Assange from being extradited to the US to face espionage charges.

A so-called glitch on the Nevada Secretary of State’s website caused unmailed ballots to show up as counted in the recent Nevada primary.

The Nevada Secretary of State’s office (run by Democrat Francisco Aguilar) on Sunday learned of the ‘glitch’ after numerous Nevada voters realized their votes were counted in the recent primary even though they didn’t participate.

The SoS office “determined that the problem resulted in some counties not taking the proper steps to upload their voter registration. Every night each county uploads their voter registration to the secretary of state’s database, which executes code to create the statewide voter registration file that Nevadans see when they log into vote.nv.gov, according to the secretary of state’s office.” – The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

“The systems used by some counties require additional steps to be taken to ensure that voters who did not return their ballot do not have vote history, the secretary of state’s office said. Some of those steps were not taken, which resulted in inaccurate data on the website.” – The Review-Journal said.

The Nevada Secretary of State’s office insisted the glitch will be fixed and all data will be accurate within 48 hours.

“Again, this is an error that relates to the code used for when a voter is sent a mail ballot and does not return it; it has no connection in any way to vote tabulation,” the Secretary of State’s office said in a statement. The top-down Voter Registration and Election Management System (VREMS) project at the Secretary of State’s office will go live prior to the June 2024 election, and remove the need for these outdated processes.”

Excerpt from 8 News Now:

A technical issue was causing primary mail-in ballots across Nevada to show as counted when voters had not mailed their ballots or voted at all, the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office confirmed Monday to 8 News Now.

The voter history glitch had nothing to do with vote tabulation, which happens at the county level.

County clerks had mailed ballots for the primaries to those registered as Democrat or Republican and who requested them or had not opted out. Over the weekend, several people emailed 8 News Now, saying though they never voted by mail or voted in the primary at all, the state’s online system showed their ballot was counted.

Former First Lady of Haiti Indicted in Husband’s Assassination, Prosecutors Claim She Attempted to Take Over Presidency

The former first lady of Haiti has been indicted in the assassination of her husband, President Jovenel Moise.

Judge Walther Voltaire has indicted former First Lady Martine Moise for being “complicit” in her husband’s 2021 assassination.

The judge made his decision after receiving evidence from two defendants who claimed Martine Moise had knowledge of her husband’s assassination plot but did not warn her husband due to her desire to become president herself.

Judge Voltaire also indicted dozens of others, including former Prime Minister Claude Joseph and the ex-chief of Haiti’s National Police, Léon Charles.

Per AP:

A judge in Haiti responsible for investigating the July 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moïse has indicted his widow, Martine Moïse, ex-prime minister Claude Joseph and the former chief of Haiti’s National Police, Léon Charles, among others, according to a report obtained Monday.

The indictments are expected to further destabilize Haiti as it struggles with a surge in gang violence and recovers from a spate of violent protests demanding the resignation of current Prime Minister Ariel Henry.

Dozens of suspects were indicted in the 122-page report issued by Walther Wesser Voltaire, who is the fifth judge to lead the investigation after previous ones stepped down for various reasons, including fear of being killed.

Charles, who was police chief when Moïse was killed and now serves as Haiti’s permanent representative to the Organization of the American States, faces the most serious charges: murder; attempted murder; possession and illegal carrying of weapons; conspiracy against the internal security of the state; and criminal association.

US Is Lone Veto Of UN Resolution Demanding Ceasefire In Gaza

Another UN Security Council vote on Gaza… another resounding veto by the United States. Tuesday's vote marks no less than the third US veto of a security council resolution demanding ceasefire in Gaza.

The US blasted the resolution set before the council as "wishful and irresponsible" and alleged that it puts current sensitive truce negotiations between Israel and Hamas in jeopardy. The UN text called for an "immediate humanitarian ceasefire" and was proposed by Algeria for the 15-member Security Council's approval. It was seen as having widespread Arab backing.

The vote was 13-1 with the UK abstaining and the US being the lone 'no' vote, which is a familiar pattern historically on Israel-related issues.

"Colleagues, over the past few weeks, we have made incredibly clear that the resolution before the council would not achieve the goal of a sustainable peace, and may in fact run counter to it," Biden's ambassador to the UN Thomas-Greenfield said.

"Proceeding with a vote today was wishful and irresponsible. And so while we cannot support a resolution that would put sensitive negotiations in jeopardy, we look forward to engaging on a text we believe will address so many of the concerns we all share. A text that can, and should, be adopted by the council," she added.

Had the resolution passed, it would have put immense pressure on the Netanyahu government to at least stop the impending Rafah offensive.

But Thomas-Greenfield's emphasis was that this would have stymied diplomatic efforts to free the over 100 hostages still being held by Hamas. Israel too has said it sees international demands for ceasefire as essentially a gift to Hamas.

But the reality is that the Qatar-sponsored negotiations appear all but dead at this point. Netanyahu has said Hamas' conditions are "delusional" - namely the demand to withdraw all Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip first.

Musk Reveals Neuralink's First Human Patient Controls Computer Mouse With Mind

In an X Spaces event, Elon Musk revealed the first human patient implanted with a brain chip from Neuralink has made a "full recovery" and "can control the mouse around the screen just by thinking."

"Progress is good, and the patient seems to have made a full recovery, with no ill effects that we are aware of. The patient is able to move a mouse around the screen by just thinking," Musk told X users in Spaces on Monday night.

Musk said Neuralink is currently focusing on maximizing the number of mouse clicks by the patient.

Neuralink implanted the first brain chip into a human in January, following approval for human trials in September. The potentially life-transforming technology could help patients with quadriplegia caused by cervical spinal cord injury or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Neuralink has called the trial its "PRIME Study," short for "Precise Robotically Implanted Brain-Computer Interface," which aims to study the safety of its chip and surgical robot and test the device's functionality.

The brain chip "grants people the ability to control a computer cursor or keyboard using their thoughts alone," the company wrote in September.

Assange Judge Worked For MI6 & Defense Ministry

One of the two High Court judges who will rule on Julian Assange’s bid to stop his extradition to the US represented the UK's Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) and the Ministry of Defense, Declassified has found.

Justice Jeremy Johnson has also been a specially vetted barrister, cleared by the UK authorities to access top-secret information. Johnson will sit with Dame Victoria Sharp, his senior judge, to decide the fate of the WikiLeaks co-founder. If extradited, Assange faces a maximum sentence of 175 years.

His persecution by the US authorities has been at the behest of Washington’s intelligence and security services, with whom the U.K. has deep relations.

Assange’s journalistic career has been marked by exposing the dirty secrets of the US and UK national security establishments. He now faces a judge who has acted for, and received security clearance from, some of those same state agencies.

As with previous judges who have ruled on Assange’s case, this raises concerns about institutional conflicts of interest. Exactly how much Johnson has been paid for his work for government departments is not clear. Records show he was paid twice by the Government Legal Department for his services in 2018. The sum was over £55,000.

Briefed by MI6

Justice Johnson became a deputy High Court judge in 2016 and a full judge in 2019. His biography states he has been "often acting in cases involving the police and government departments."

As a barrister, in 2007 he represented MI6 as an observer during the inquests into the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed.

Johnson worked alongside Robin Tam QC, previously described by legal directories as a barrister who "does an enormous amount of often sensitive work" for the U.K. government. At the time, Foreign Office sources could not recall "a previous occasion when MI6 [had] appointed lawyers to an inquest".

MI6 was reportedly "so concerned by possible revelations" during the inquest that Johnson was appointed to "sit in on the hearing."

Manufactured Border Crisis Being Used To Implement Biometric Surveillance

The political response to the crisis at the southern border continues to advance the bipartisan “smart wall,” having been backed by Trump and Biden alike. This bipartisan consensus reaches far beyond the US, as much of the world is similarly speeding along in implementing “digital borders.”

The disastrous situation at the US-Mexico border is, and has been, intentionally produced. Throughout the last several administrations, regardless of campaign and other public rhetoric, the porous nature of the border has remained unresolved. On several occasions, the situation as it has developed has been blamed largely on incompetence and government inefficiency. Though some administrations have been tougher than others in regards to terrestrial migration (under some metrics), the US-Mexico border has not been sealed off so to force entrants to cross through officially recognized and managed ports of entry.

Under the current administration, it has been pointedly obvious that even the sections of the border that do contain physical barriers are being dismantled on purpose, all the while illegal crossings have risen to unprecedented levels. Whatever the motives for this deliberate policy on the part of the Biden administration, the end result has been the widespread characterization of the crisis as an “invasion,” priming the voter bloc usually most concerned with border security – the American Right – for military-style “solutions.”

While the justifications for the frenzied media coverage are based on the actual reality that the border is indeed highly insecure (and has been for some time), the policy responses from American politicians reveal that there is a bipartisan consensus about what must be done. Tellingly, the same “solution” is also being quietly rolled out at all American ports of entry that are not currently being “overrun”, such as airports. That solution, of course, is biometric surveillance, enabled by AI, facial recognition/biometrics and autonomous devices.

This “solution” is not just being implemented throughout the United States as an alleged means of thwarting migrants, it is also being rapidly implemented throughout the world in apparent lockstep. The reasons for the unspoken, but obvious, global consistency in implementing invasive, biometric surveillance is due to the fulfillment of global policy agendas, ratified by nearly every country in the world, that seek both to restrict the extent of people’s freedom of movement and to surveil people’s movements (and much, much more) through the global implementation of digital identity. Those policy agendas include mainly the UN’s Agenda 2030 or Sustainable Development Goals, specifically SDG 16, as well as Interpol’s Global Policing Goals.

While the American Right has been rather outspoken in its rejection of the UN’s Agenda 2030, and the digital ID project at large, the distress over the border situation is being used to manufacture consent among this specific group for “solutions” that are focused on expanding surveillance and biometric collection as opposed to the implementation of physical barriers.

The Virtual Wall

The Hawaiian shirt-wearing inventor of the VR headset Oculus Rift, Palmer Luckey, has become the face of America’s “virtual border wall.” Luckey, the brain behind the defense tech firm Anduril, is a long-time associate of Palantir co-founder Peter Thiel, with Luckey having met Thiel at 19 when Luckey presided over his first company Oculus Rift, which was later sold to Facebook. Thiel was then on Facebook’s board and was also instrumental in the rise of the social media company. Luckey’s Anduril is also backed by Thiel’s Founders Fund and another Palantir co-founder, Joe Lonsdale, is also an Anduril investor.

‘Israeli apartheid worse than what South Africa endured’: ICJ hearings

In a continuous show of pro-Palestine solidarity, South Africa slammed “Israel’s” apartheid in Palestine as worse than the one it experienced pre-1994, at the International Court of Justice on Tuesday.

“We as South Africans sense, see, hear, and feel to our core the inhumane discriminatory policies and practices of the Israeli regime as an even more extreme form of the apartheid that was institutionalized against black people in my country,” said South Africa’s ambassador to the Netherlands, Vusimuzi Madonsela, at the top court.

Madonsela added that the Israeli apartheid, being a crime itself, is simultaneously and fundamentally settler colonialism that South Africa felt obligated “to call out and end.”

The ICJ is conducting hearings throughout the week to assess the legal consequences of the Israeli 75-year-long occupation, with the court focusing specifically on the past 57 years of the occupation, beginning in 1967, with an unprecedented 52 nations, including the United States and Russia, expected to present evidence.

IDF chief in missive to soldiers: ‘Unlike our enemy, we maintain our humanity’

Halevi tells his troops war in Gaza is ‘just’ – not revenge nor genocide; says army’s probe into Oct. 7 failures will be steered by ‘truth, transparency, solidarity’

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzi Halevi sent a missive to troops on Tuesday, telling them that the army is “not on a killing spree,” acting out of revenge nor carrying out genocide in the Gaza Strip, with the war against Hamas in its fifth month.

“We still have a long way to go,” Halevi wrote, adding that Israel was fighting “a long and just war. Every move is very important, every local achievement is part of realizing the goals of the war. Do it with determination and professionalism.”

War erupted in Gaza with Hamas’s October 7 attack, which saw some 3,000 terrorists burst across the border into Israel, killing some 1,200 people and seizing 253 hostages, mostly civilians, amid horrific acts of brutality.

Biden administration submits UN proposal calling for Israel to delay major ground offensive in Rafah

Administration submitted draft resolution after having rejected an Arab-backed resolution demanding immediate humanitarian cease-fire

The Biden administration has put forth an alternative U.N. Security Council resolution that would support a temporary cease-fire in Gaza and states Israel’s planned, major ground offensive into the southern Gaza city of Rafah “should not proceed under current circumstances.”

The administration submitted the draft resolution Monday, after having rejected an Arab-backed resolution demanding an immediate humanitarian cease-fire.

The resolution proposed by the U.S calls for temporary cease-fire “as soon as practicable.”

The draft also calls for the release of all hostages taken by Hamas in its Oct. 7, 2023, terror attack on Israel and the lifting of all restrictions on the delivery of humanitarian aid.

Roughly 1.5 million Palestinians have sought safety in Rafah since Israel declared war on the Palestinian-affiliated Hamas almost immediately after the deadly attacks.

HOW UKRAINE IS BECOMING LARGEST MARKET FOR DISTRIBUTION OF HUMAN ORGANS

Illegal trafficking of human organs is currently one of the most discussed aspects of the criminal world, alongside the illegal drug and weapon trade. Surprisingly, Ukraine has become one of the most active suppliers of human organs, despite being primarily associated with countries in Latin America. Since the start of the conflict on its soil, involving Russia, Ukraine has seen an emergence of black transplantologists who operate in the shadows.

These individuals target destroyed military units and extract bodies, leaving behind missing soldiers who mysteriously disappeared during the incidents. Recently, evidence of their activities has surfaced in the Odessa region, where soldiers from the 41st Separate Guards Motorized Rifle Brigade and the 122nd Territorial Defense Troops were essentially “harvested.”

The cemetery in Odessa has seen an increase in fresh graves, marked with signs that read “SURGICAL WASTE.”

The potential for financial gain in this gruesome business seems to have enticed some high-ranking officials to authorize the use of wounded soldiers as organ donors, all while pretending they are missing in action. The proximity to Romania and Moldova, where transplant clinics operate more openly, only adds to the suspicion.

These crimes are just another example of the Zelensky regime’s atrocities against its own people, showcasing the corrupt nature of the Kiev government. It is horrifying to see how those in power mistreat their citizens, especially when Western media outlets like The Washington Post and The Guardian continue to recycle old footage as if it were new, making it impossible to trust their reporting.

Douglas Murray Announces New Doxing Database to Keep Critics of Israel From Getting a Job

Douglas Murray, the director of the British Free Speech Union, announced a new initiative on Monday aimed at doxing critics of Israel for "hate speech" and keeping them from getting jobs.

"Douglas Murray is Director of the British Free Speech Union. He is now going to lead an initiative to have harsher penalties for those accused of hate speech, and bar 'bigots' from employment opportunities based on social media posts!" Keith Woods commented on X.

"These speech laws have been used to target nationalists more than anyone – Murray's countryman Sam Melia is going to jail for sharing stickers about mass-immigration and this is what he is working on, what a disgrace!"

The Tafsik Organization, which is behind the initiative, says on their website that they're lobbying for new hate crime laws to block people from getting jobs and keep them from traveling freely:

Proposing a Hate Offenders List akin to the Sex Offenders list for those convicted of Hate Crimes would streamline law enforcement efforts, imposing travel restrictions, limiting access to certain public places, and significantly impacting job opportunities to deter the wielders of hatred from positions of power.

They also say they're building a doxing database using facial recognition and AI:

Utilizing the SEO from social media platforms like Twitter(X)/TikTok/Facebook posts reported onto D.A.V.I.D. will have hyper visibility using a simple google search, affecting the individuals employment opportunities and reputation. D.A.V.I.D. employs facial recognition to identify bigots from photos or videos. AI spiders crawl social media platforms, detecting antisemitic content in posts, comments, and images.

This is what Murray is now championing:

‘Crime of the Century’: New Research Paper Raises Horrifying Possibility Covid Patients Were ‘Euthanized’

A new research paper in pre-print circulation at the open access journal Medical & Clinical Research raises the horrifying possibility that certain Covid-19 patients were euthanized during the pandemic.

The research paper has not been peer-reviewed; but it does provide data and documentation that is leading to pointed accusations directed at the National Heath Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom that doctors pursued a deliberate policy of euthanizing certain Covid-19 patients, particularly those patients struggling with pulmonary-respiratory issues.

“Clearly, Midazolam injections and excess deaths in England are highly correlated, but not synchronously, because medication generally does not have instantaneous impact and also reporting of dosages used and registration of deaths may lag,” the author Wilson Sy of Investment Analytics notes. “Shifting the time series for Midazolam injections one-month forward, very high correlation is seen in Figure 10.”

Law enforcement disrupt world’s biggest ransomware operation

LockBit was the most deployed ransomware variant across the world

In a significant breakthrough in the fight against cybercrime, law enforcement from 10 countries have disrupted the criminal operation of the LockBit ransomware group at every level, severely damaging their capability and credibility.

LockBit is widely recognised as the world’s most prolific and harmful ransomware, causing billions of euros worth of damage.

This international sweep follows a complex investigation led by the UK's National Crime Agency in the framework of an international taskforce known as ‘Operation Cronos’, coordinated at European level by Europol and Eurojust.

The months-long operation has resulted in the compromise of LockBit’s primary platform and other critical infrastructure that enabled their criminal enterprise. This includes the takedown of 34 servers in the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, France, Switzerland, Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom.

In addition, two LockBit actors have been arrested in Poland and Ukraine at the request of the French judicial authorities. Three international arrest warrants and five indictments have also been issued by the French and U.S. judicial authorities.

Authorities have frozen more than 200 cryptocurrency accounts linked to the criminal organisation, underscoring the commitment to disrupt the economic incentives driving ransomware attacks.

The UK's National Crime Agency has now taken control of the technical infrastructure that allows all elements of the LockBit service to operate, as well as their leak site on the dark web, on which they previously hosted the data stolen from victims in ransomware attacks.

At present, a vast amount of data gathered throughout the investigation is now in the possession of law enforcement. This data will be used to support ongoing international operational activities focused on targeting the leaders of this group, as well as developers, affiliates, infrastructure and criminal assets linked to these criminal activities.

The world’s most harmful ransomware

LockBit first emerged at the end of 2019, first calling itself ‘ABCD’ ransomware. Since then, it has grown rapidly and in 2022 it became the most deployed ransomware variant across the world.

The group is a ‘ransomware-as-a-service’ operation, meaning that a core team creates its malware and runs its website, while licensing out its code to affiliates who launch attacks.

Republicans ask why 9 boxes of Biden records were omitted in Special Counsel report

Department of Justice (DOJ) Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report on President Biden’s mishandling of classified documents omitted nine boxes of potentially classified records, according to Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin).

The senators made the existence of the records public after the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) responded to their oversight queries. NARA reportedly confirming that, at DOJ’s urging, it retrieved the 9 boxes out of concern for the sensitivity of their contents.

NARA further acknowledged to the senators that the FBI had reviewed the contents of the boxes. But it is unclear if NARA or the FBI shared their findings with Hur.

Grassley and Johnson are pressing Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray and Hur on this “significant factual omission.”

Specifically, the senators are asking for a description of the boxes’ contents and an explanation of what the agencies did with them. “…[W]e publicly revealed last year that NARA had retrieved nine boxes of Biden records from the Boston office of Patrick Moore, one of Biden’s personal counsels,” the senators wrote.

“Oddly, Special Counsel Hur’s report did not mention NARA’s retrieval of the nine boxes from Mr. Moore’s office… [I]t is unclear if Special Counsel Hur had any awareness of or reviewed the information contained in these nine boxes.” “DOJ, FBI, and the Special Counsel’s office owe Congress and the American people a complete explanation regarding this apparent omission in Special Counsel Hur’s report, a detailed description of the contents of the nine boxes, and what was done with them,” the senators concluded.

Background information from the senators: Grassley and Johnson were the first in Congress to probe Biden’s mishandling of government records in an initial inquiry to then-White House Counsel Dana Remus in July 2021. Notably, Hur’s report makes clear that several months after Grassley and Johnson kicked off their oversight, Remus began “gathering materials to prepare for potential congressional inquiries” relating to Biden’s files.

Israeli army to launch probe into 7 Oct failure

The investigation may not be impartial as the army is implicated in the killing of many Israeli civilians during the Palestinian resistance's Operation Al-Aqsa Flood

The commission indicated that current commanders in the army would be conducting the investigation rather than an external committee, as was previously decided.

UNRWA Chief Tells Haaretz: We Take Israel's Claims of Hamas Infiltration Seriously, but Yet to See Evidence Against Gaza Employees

'We are asking Israel to fully cooperate to provide the evidence,' says Philippe Lazzarini, who rejects claims of humanitarian aid being diverted to Hamas, says he wasn't aware of any involvement by agency employees in terrorism, and warns against efforts to halt UNRWA's operations in Gaza

The UN Relief and Works Agency has been in the eye of the storm for weeks. An Israeli intelligence report accused 12 of its employees of involvement in Hamas' October 7 attack on Israel, convincing 16 countries to suspend their financial support to the agency, the main player in alleviating Gaza's humanitarian crisis.

About 1,600 Nike Employees To Be Laid Off

About 1,600 employees are being laid off at Nike, according to President and CEO John Donahoe. Donahoe revealed the development in a company-wide email sent on Thursday, per WFAA.

“This is a painful reality and not one that I take lightly. We are not currently performing at our best, and I ultimately hold myself and my leadership team accountable,” he said.

“Nike has a proud history where the most challenging moments bring out the best in us, individually and as a team. I know we will come together to respond once again, and I am confident in our future,” he added.
