I also dislike notables, if only for the simple reason the only time I posted some digging that SHOULD have become a notable, the bakers went through a "nothing is notable unless it's exactly about somehting specifically mentioned by Q" phase (1000+ breads ago). This of course led to nothing at all being notable for several breads.

So if MY good work isn't notable enough for this place, then nothing is! lol

The only serious problem Q and POTUS has, is optics. They're about to take down a massive infestation of evil, and they WILL be painted as making a fascist coup unless they play this very smartly. Which they fortunately do, and which is the reason this takes so damn long. Everything must be done in the right order to carefully manipulate the public into accepting the coming shitstorm as legitimate. Seeing the political left go full retard is immensely helpful in this regard!

But if they did it that way, the republic would be broken in the attempt to save it.

The ONLY challenge here, is getting the job done WITHOUT triggering civil war and/or destroying the public's faith in the republic and its institutions in the process! If they act while the bad guys are still in a position to paint the swamp draining as a fascist coup, then they will have acted carelessly.

And that's the reason they're being very very careful and making sure all ducks are in a row before they let the hammer drop.
