Always have to wonder, how are We the People the rightful masters of government when government keeps everything secret from us?

They shouldn't have to live under the same roof. They should help yes, but the whole "families should live together" thing is about money. Used to, a man would leave his parents and make a life for himself. That is even biblical. Now families need to live together to survive.
What's so wrong with families not living together? If some want to fine, but to look down on those who don't?
It sounds like you want things to remain locked in time and never change from the image you think things should be like.
Leaving your parents is biblical. Families living together was pushed so grandparents can take care of kids while mom works etc. It all comes back to money.
