What was the US military's secret space plane doing on its record-breaking mission?

publishedNovember 18, 2022

The X-37B after landing at NASA's Kennedy Space Center on Nov. 12

Asecret space plane operated by the United States Space Force (USSF)has landed back on Earth after spending a record 908 days in orbit. But what it was doing above our heads remains shrouded in mystery.

The uncrewed X-37B space plane touched down at NASA’s Kennedy Space Station on Nov. 12 at 5:22 a.m. ET, concluding the sixth mission that it and another identical vehicle have completed since the first flight in 2010. Details on its activities during the record-smashing trip are sparse, but officials claim it was conducting a number of scientific experiments at around 249 miles (400 kilometers) above Earth.

The X-37B was first designed by Boeing for NASA, before being adapted for use by the U.S military. It is an airplane-spacecraft hybrid that in many ways resembles a miniature space shuttle. For its sixth mission, classified as Orbital Test Vehicle-6 (OTV-6), it was launched vertically while perched atop an Atlas V rocket in May 2020. The space plane has now spent roughly 10 years in orbit across all of its missions, covering approximately 1.3 billion miles (2.1 billion km). The new 908-day flight smashes the 780-day record for a space plane in continuous orbit, which was also set by the X-37B during an earlier mission.

A secretive Space Force plane completed its longest mission yet

Emma BowmanNov. 12, 2022

Loud booms heard in Florida marked the return of the X-37B, the U.S. Space Force's uncrewed orbital test vehicle, after the secretive space plane's sixth and longest mission yet.

After 908 days in orbit, the Boeing vehicle touched down at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida early Saturday morning.

NASA conducted a number of experiments during the trip, the Space Force said in a statement.

It was also the first X-37B mission toinclude a service module, which the Space Force described as "a ring attached to the rear of the vehicleexpanding the number of experiments that can be hosted during a mission."

Beyond that, not much is known about the X-37B's missions. Officials have released scant information about a few experiments that took place aboard the latest flight.

One of the experiments, in partnership with the Naval Research Laboratory, involved converting solar power into microwave energy. Another aimed to test the durability of certain materials exposed to space conditions. A third experiment was designed to study the long-term effects of space radiation on seeds==, in order to explore crop production and "the establishment of permanently inhabited bases in space."

"The X-37B continues to push the boundaries of experimentation, enabled by an elite government and industry team behind the scenes,"said Lt. Col. Joseph Fritschen, the X-37B program director for the Air Force Department's Rapid Capabilities Office. "The ability to conduct on-orbit experiments and bring them home safely for in-depth analysis on the ground has proven valuable for the Department of the Air Force and scientific community."

Peterson, Schriever, Cheyenne Mountain cultivate a new identity

PublishedJuly 26, 2021

By Senior Airman Alexus Wilcox

Peterson-Schriever Garrison Public Affairs

PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. –

Schriever Air Force Base, Peterson Air Force Base and Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Stationreceived new namesduring the renaming ceremony at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, July 26, 2021.

The installations are now named Schriever Space Force Base, Peterson Space Force Base andCheyenne Mountain Space Force Station.

The bases’ names changed as part of the overall initiative by the Department of the Air Force to establish a unique identity and culture within the U.S. Space Force, and more accurately reflect the important space missions performed by Airmen and Guardians stationed there.

U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. Stephen N. Whiting, Space Operations Command commander, presided over the ceremony, along with U.S. Space Force Col. Shay Warakomski, Peterson-Schriever Garrison commander.

“Although we are celebrating our new designation as Space Force installations today, we are also honoring the rich history we’ve built here on the Front Range and in the Pikes Peak Region,” said Whiting. “Our ties and connections to the past are indelible as Peterson, Schriever and Cheyenne Mountain have long served as the heart, eyes and ears of our national security interest in space.”

Peterson SFB’s history, andit’s evolution from air defense to space warfighting missions, dates back to World War II. Peterson SFB has played a central role in U.S. and allied national defense for decades. Today, Peterson SFB maintains amission centered on the ability to defy gravity for operations in the air and space domains.

Peterson SFB provides missionsupport to Space Operations Command, Space Delta 2 – Space Domain Awareness, Space Delta 3 – Space Electronic Warfare and Space Delta 7 – Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.

“It is incredibly important to illuminate our past and to celebrate the accomplishments of those who have come before us, previous Guardians of the High Frontier, as well as recognize the community relationships both past and present that got us here today,” said Warakomski.

Like Peterson SFB, Schriever SFB has a rich history beginning in 1983. The base was previously named Falcon Air Force Station, an installation intended to provide a back-up control node for support of existing and planned satellite constellations, and to house an operations support center for NASA’s space shuttle.

Schriever SFB’s current missioncentering combat power for spaceis executed by Joint Task Force-Space Defense, Space Delta 6 –Cyberspace Operations, Space Delta 8 –Satellite Communicationsand Navigational Warfare and Space Delta 9 –Orbital Warfare.

The history of Cheyenne Mountain dates back to 1956, when the initial mission of Cheyenne Mountain was to protect the country against the Russian threat and has since evolved into what it is to today, serving as North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command's Alternate Command Center and as a training site for crew qualification.

“We have to build upon the legacy and history, the civic relationships and all that has made Peterson, Schriever and Cheyenne Mountain great as we move forward with a vision for the future,” said Warakomski.

I agree meanwhile UK focuses on limiting free thought and speech. I doubt the EU leaders of countries understand their experiment of flooding their country with Muslims will turn on the leaders, all of them will be replaced. Macron and others think they can control and use Muslims to keep their citizens in line. The leaders will end up getting the Khadafi treatment. Thats how stupid they are.

I agree I wouldn’t go to a European country, except for Hungary who refused illegals. Ursula the witch is witholding Hungary’s money to punish them

Frozen cash

Overall, Hungary needs to meet 27 "super milestones," as well as four "horizontal enabling conditions," which, in some cases, overlap, to accessmore than €30 billion in cohesion and recovery fundsthat have been frozen since December 2022.

The judicial reform, though, only serves to unlock up to €10.2 billion of the total sum.

The country will still be left without over €11.5 billion in cohesion funds. This includes the €6.3 billionthat was paralysed under the so-called "conditionality mechanism" over concerns related to public procurement, conflicts of interest and corruption.

"Despite regular exchanges with Hungary, the Commission considers that Hungary has not addressed the breaches of the principles of the rule of law" that triggered the activation of the mechanism, the Commission said.

USSPACECOM, USSF leaders tout partners as ‘game changers’ to address space threats

Feb. 15, 2024

AURORA, Colo. (AFNS) – U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. Douglas Schiess, U.S. Space Forces – Space commander; and U.S. Space Command’s Combined Joint Force Space Component commander, joined the Space Order of Battle panel along with USSF Lt. Gen. DeAnna Burt, deputy chief of Space Operations for Operations, Cyber and Nuclear; and USSF Maj. Gen. Gregory Gagnon, deputy chief of Space Operations for Intelligence, at the Air and Space Forces Association’s Warfare Symposium, Feb. 13.

During the discussion, moderated by retired U.S. Air Force Gen. Kevin Chilton, panelists emphasized the growing threats in the space domain from competitors like China and Russia who have demonstrated dual use capabilities and a wartime space architecture that could put the joint force and its allies and partners at risk.

“This is the domain that people are now concerned about. It is no longer this benign domain, I’m not sure it ever really was. But we have to be prepared (for) all those threats,” Schiess said.

Gagnon specifically highlighted two areas he thinks the People’s Republic of China is focused on, removing USSPACECOM’s ability to support the joint force from space and growing PRC space capabilities to compete with the U.S. capabilities “that we have all grown accustomed to, to make us the most lethal military in the world.”

While the United States has approximately 9,000 satellites in space, 70% of them are communication satellites to “connect the world,” Gagnon said. He compared this with the PRC, who has approximately 900 satellites, of which over half are remote sensing satellites designed to “find, fix and track joint forces in the western Pacific.”

To best meet these challenges, the USSF recently activated S4S to ensure the most efficient presentation of forces to USSPACECOM. In his role as the C/JFSCC and S4S commander, Schiess acknowledged he has three lines of effort: protecting the joint force from space-enabled attacks, defending space systems, and delivering space capabilities to the joint force.

"Our joint force is architected and grown on the effect that they are going to have space to do their job, and so, we can't allow that they don't have that,” Schiess said. “We have to protect, we have to defend, and we deliver. And that means that we have to have those capabilities.”

Burt said that part of the solution is to make it harder for an adversary to take away or eliminate the joint force’s access to space capabilities through proliferation and resiliency.

“You impose cost upon (adversaries) to have more capability and magazine depth to try to take that capability away from the joint force,” Burt said. “By diversifying constellations in different orbits, you get different capabilities.”

Gagnon explained this as “disincentivizing first mover advantage” so that an adversary does not have the opportunity for a “knockout punch.”

The USSF has demonstrated numerous capabilities to mitigate threats, one of its recent examples is the VICTUS NOX mission, which demonstrated the USSF’s ability to execute Tactically Responsive Space, or TacRS.

Schiess explained that the concept of TacRS is to give the componentcommander the ability to rapidly reconstitute space assetsand allow the USSPACECOM commander to plan and react quickly, should they need to.

“What do we have out there that we can put up very quickly, one,to send a message to our adversaries that we're watching, and that we're aware of what they're doing,” Schiess said. “And here's our capability to get after that, but also get something up there as fast as possible.”

As competitors continue to develop advanced capabilities, the USSF needs to adapt and continue developing advanced tactics and advanced operations in space, Gagnon said. He explained how theUSSF’s X-37Bspaceplane, on its seventh mission, is getting after further understanding the space environment through space domain awareness experiments.

“Space defense starts with space awareness,” Gagnon said while also emphasizing the significant role international partners play in improving and increasing SDA.

“Although we have the best space domain awareness today … we will be even better with our partners, because we are stronger together,” Gagnon stated.

Schiess expanded on the “exquisite capabilities” partners provide, including commercial partners in theCommercial Integration Cell at the Combined Space Operations Center at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. He acknowledged the power of the 10 current companies, but added, “10 is not enough … we have to expand the commercial integration.”

LOVER BOY NATHAN WADE GOT GEO-TRACKED! Fani Willis and Lover Nathan Wade in Danger of Disqualification in Trump Case After Fresh Discovery of Cellphone Data Suggests They Lied Under Oath

by Jim Hoft Feb. 23, 2024 10:40 am213 Comments

THEY GEO-TRACKED NATHAN WADE! FANI AND HER LOVER-BOY GOT CAUGHT!

FANI IS FINISHED!

According to a breaking report by the far-left Atlanta Journal-Constitution,authorities geo-tracked Nathan Wadeand found that Nathan Wade made at least=35 visits to Fani’s neighborhood before he was hiredas the lead prosecutor in the lawfare RICO case against President Trump and 18 Trump associates.

The information was included in a court submission filed on Friday.

Fani Willis and her lead prosecutor and lover Nathan Wade both testified in court thatthey started a relationship AFTER he was appointedto lead the Trump election interference case.

It looks like Fani and Nathan are in a whole heap of trouble!

Nathan Wade appeared to make at least 35 visits to the Hapeville neighborhood where Fani Willis was living before the district attorney hired him to lead Fulton County’s election interference prosecution, according to cellphone data included in a court submission filed Friday.

The filing, by attorneys for Donald Trump, raises fresh questions about the relationship between the two prosecutors, which the former president and other defendants argue has tainted the case against them and should result in Willis and her office being disqualified.

Trump’s lawyers relied on data collected from Wade’s cellphone and cellphone tower transmissions to track his movements. It seems to contradict Wade’s testimony last week in which he said he had visited Willis at her condo in Hapeville no more than 10 times before he was hired in November 2021. It also indicates Wade twice arrived late at night at the condo and left early the next morning in the months before Willis and Wade said their relationship became romantic early in 2022.

Both Wade and Willis testified last week that they did not spend the night together at the Hapeville condo.

A spokesman from the Fulton DA’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This is bad. This is really bad. Fani is finished!

Megyn Kelly weighed in: “Stunning that Team Trump got their hands on this in the #FaniWillis case. More evidence that these two prosecutors lied, under oath. They’re looking at perjury charges and worse. Discipline from the Bar. And there is zero chance they can stay on this case. It’s DONE.

Here is the document via Phil Holloway.

From the filing: “November 29, 2021, Mr. Wade’s phone was pinging on the East Cobb towers near his residence and, following a call from Ms. Willis at 11:32 P.M., while the call continued, his phone left the East Cobb area just after midnight and arrived within the geofence located on the Dogwood address at 12:43 A.M on November 30, 2021. The phone remained there until 4:55am”

BTW i was listening to new at 9.55 channel, there was s legal guy that worked for the station to discuss the Fani and Wade thing. He made some very good points, but he also clarified the judges $150 donation to het campaign.

he said that McAfree overseeing this court case was not even a judge when he donated.

• It was a campaign donation in 2019-2020 when Fani was challenging the DA Howard, the one that arrested the police officers when they shot the guy at Wendy’s.

• The guy is Republican from Fulton county and many both democrat and republican donated to her to get Howard out of office. He also said he donated to her.

• There is/was no conflict of interest

• no one knew at that time that Fani was so corrupt, they knew Howard was extremely corrupt.

• he said there was no reason to think the judge did anything to compromise his position

Note: McAfree was not a judge when he donated, so whoever found that info either knew and ignored it or they were stupid
