Jesus said something once along the lines of those who try to save their lives will lose them, but those who give their lives will be saved.
Put that into context with the imminent Micronova of the Sun. All that grift over the decades since you learned the Truth, to build yourselves great cities and complexes underground because you believe you and yours will come out on the other side of this 12,000 cycle with enough technology intact that you would rule the survivors you consider mere cattle.
You hide the Truth from your Peoples for decades instead of informing them, letting them contribute their ideas of how best to suvive the coming cataclysm. Because you court Chaos. You do so in your own self-interests. And to your own detriment.
Every time I think about this, a vision comes to mind of the vault under the Vatican, where the eyewitness accounts of Jesus are most carefully preserved. The scrolls that would restore his Humanity and destroy this fake Divinity foisted on him by men no greater than me. And I am nothing, if not equal to every other soul on the Earth and throughout all Creation. As are we all.
Then I see the crust of the Earth unlock from the mantle and that vault under the Vatican crack open in the tumult like an egg. And the Truth spills out.
Anything anti-Nature, such as divine birth, is anti-God. If you base any kind of religion on such a premise, you are breaking the First Commandment. After that, the others come easy.
