Nancy Pelosi and the National Pan-Hellenic Council, aka "The Divine Nine"
In previous digs, we learned theBiden Administrationhas made significant efforts to include members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council ("The Divine Nine") in the process of enacting "new voting rights and police reform laws". We learned that the National Pan-Hellenic Council is made up of 9 black fraternities and sororities. We learned the names of many people who are affiliated with "The Divine Nine". We learned about activist judges (members of Alpha Kappa Alpha and Delta Sigma Theta, both are members of the council) who fight what they call the "Prison Pipeline". Anon finds it interesting, given Kamala Harris' record as California Attorney General, that she and those judges are members the same network. "The Devine Nine" seem to be able to juggle opposing agendas.

Now we learn thatNancy Pelosihas had a special relationship with Delta Sigma Theta since at least 2014. In a Feb. 7, 2014 article from The Root, Nancy laments the fact that she was asked not to wear red for the occasion because she's not a Delta. The author of the article questions whether Nancy will someday be able to wear red. Reminder: in previous digs, we learned that Delta Sigma Theta's colors are crimson and cream.

In a rollingout piece dated 7-18-2018, we learn that Barbara Lee became an honorary member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority. What's that? Barbara Lee became an honorary member of Sigma Gamma Rho in July of 2023 and Nancy created a leadership position for her in Nov. of 2023? Nothing to see here. Check out the colors on Sigma Gamma Rho.
