Try reading it as the Word of God and not allegory you might start hearing and seeing the man as other than a metaphor for the mind being a living thing.

None but God are truly good, some better than evil certainly and that would be the right side of the heavens created by Him to be in communication with as the side on which the Son of man sits for a total reconciliation with goodness and affirmation with the Lord who created everything both seen and unseen sustaining all manifestation.
