Salt alone works on grease fires but it can damage concrete too. Watch videos on YT for frying pan fires and salt. It would make water more effective fighting fires and the damage to foliage isn't as bad as a consuming fire, right? We should have reserves throughout the US for such times that doesn't affect our drinking water supplies.
