The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is assisting in fighting a fire burning on the grounds of the Air Force Academy. No evacuations are being ordered at this time.

 

USAFA says the fire broke out at approximately 1 P.M. Sunday afternoon. No word yet on the cause.

JUST IN: NASA says there's a small chance a U.S. spacecraft could collide with a Russian satellite at 1:30 a.m. ET.

 

If a collision occurs, it could create "significant debris" at an altitude of about 373 miles (600 km).
