Here's something to consider regarding Karma (instant or nearly instant is always better, trust me).

When I was 17, I made a covenant with God, the Father. I cut my hair off to my ears, but then would never cut it again. The longer my hair from that point on, the stronger my faith.

Twice I partially broke that covenant. The first time I cut bangs, reasoning I wasn't cutting the whole. The next night I was robbed of 60 dollars cash, which in the 70s was a lot of money for a poor person.

I was fine for years. Then I forgot, or my vanity got in the way, and I cut bangs a 2nd time (last time, too).

The next day I was stopped on a two-lane road in rush hour, waiting to make a left turn and whammo. Rear-ended at 45 miles an hour, bitch never touched the brake. My car slid 130 feet. Only thing that stopped her from climbing over my car in her Bronco was the placement of my spare tire in the trunk.

Yeah, I have honored my end of that covenant ever since.
