>do i get paid for an extra day of work this yr?
Employers see it this way:
We allowed you to fuck off 1/4 day for the last 4 years.
Today is the day you have to pay for it.

Julius Caesar was the first big shot in the West that said trust the science (put forth by the Greeks of course).
In the Med it was no big deal, but way up in Bongland every year it was getting to be a problem having the harvest season arrive earlier than usual.
Turns out the Earth was orbiting the sun in a fractional number of days causing the calendar to be short changed by a scosh.
After decades and decades that shit started to add up and cause bigly problems.
No fear, said Julius, the braniac Greeks are here with a solution!
I've only met 1 person that was born on Feb 29th.
He said his family celebrated his birthday on Feb 28 instead of Mar 1.
This made him big mad because they said it was stupid to celebrate it in Mar when he was born in Feb.
He was in one of my math classes so I guess logic was that important to him.
