Jeffrey Epstein Interview w/ Steve Bannon Teaser (4K)

"Epstein was sharing clips of the training footage with friends and that is probably how Wolff got the audiorecording. Maybe he did not receive it himself but knew someone that did and was allowed to see it and then (secretly) record it.

Epstein's brother Mark also received a clip in which Jeffrey Epstein said he stopped hanging out with Trump when he realised Trump was a crook."

Steve Bannon Coached Jeffrey Epstein to Appear ‘Friendly’ and ‘Sympathetic’ on TV

Bannon says he prepped the convicted sex offender in hopes of him appearing on “60 Minutes”

A new book from Michael Wolff reveals that Steve Bannon helped Jeffrey Epstein with media training before Epstein went to prison, where he ultimately died.

On Sunday, the New York Times reported that in Wolff’s forthcoming, “Too Famous: The Rich, the Powerful, the Wishful, the Notorious, the Damned,” the author shares that Bannon was preparing Epstein, a convicted child sex offender, for a “60 Minutes” interview that never happened.

“You’re engaging, you’re not threatening, you’re natural, you’re friendly, you don’t look at all creepy, you’re a sympathetic figure,” said Bannon during the early 2019 coaching and feedback session, per the book. Bannon, once a top strategist for former president Donald Trump, confirmed to the Times that he encouraged Epstein to do a “60 Minutes” interview and recorded more than 15 hours of interviews with the disgraced financier.

Bannon told the Times, however, he “never media-trained anyone,” and was instead working on an unannounced documentary to demonstrate how Epstein’s “perversions and depravity toward young women were part of a life that was systematically supported, encouraged and rewarded by a global establishment that dined off his money and his influence.”

Wolff says in his book that Bannon advised Epstein to look at the camera, not share any of his racist views on how Black people learn and stick to his message that he was not a pedophile.

Epstein was convicted in 2008 by a Florida state court of procuring a child for prostitution and of soliciting a prostitute. He died in an apparent suicide in August 2019. He was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges was found hanged in his cell in the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

Steve Bannon Media-Coached Jeffrey Epstein Prior to Arrest: Report

In 2019, according to a new book, media executive and erstwhile Trump confidant Steve Bannon took time out of his busy schedule to sit down with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein and coach him through an imaginary 60 Minutes interview Epstein believed he would soon be doing. Bannon’s advice: Look into the camera occasionally, don’t be racist, deny you’re a pedophile. “You’re engaging, you’re not threatening,” Bannon reportedly told the sex offender at the end of the coaching session, “you’re natural, you’re friendly, you don’t look at all creepy, you’re a sympathetic figure.”

That’s the incendiary, previously unreported anecdote included at the end of a new book by writer Michael Wolff, author of the bestseller Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. Though Bannon was an indispensable source for Wolff in Fire and Fury, Wolff wouldn’t tell The New York Times’ Ben Smith where he got these new Epstein transcripts. Bannon, in a statement, confirmed to the Times that he recorded more than 15 hours of interviews with Epstein, though he denied that he had ever “media-trained anyone.” Instead, Bannon claimed, the interviews with Epstein were not for 60 Minutes but an unreleased documentary Bannon was making on the billionaire’s “perversions and depravity.”

Steve Bannon prepped Jeffrey Epstein for CBS interview, Michael Wolff claims

Ex-Trump strategist told financier to ‘stick to his message, which is that he is not a paedophile’, New York Times reports

Jeffrey Epstein gave a series of interviews on film in 2019 in which his interviewer said the financier and convicted sex trafficker was “engaging, not threatening … [not] at all creepy … a sympathetic figure”.

The interviewer was the former Trump strategist Steve Bannon.

The episode, as reported by the New York Times, is described in a book of profiles, Too Famous: The Rich, the Powerful, the Wishful, the Notorious, the Damned, due out in October. The author is Michael Wolff, who wrote Fire and Fury and two other exposés of Donald Trump’s presidency.

The Times also reported that Bannon told Epstein to “look directly into the camera now and then”, so as not to come across as stupid, and advised his subject “not to share his racist theories on how Black people learn”.

“Mainly, Mr Bannon tells Mr Epstein, he should stick to his message, which is that he is not a paedophile. By the end, Mr Bannon seems impressed.”

Wolff reports that the interviews were preparation for an interview with CBS’s 60 Minutes which never occurred.

Bannon confirmed to the Times that he taped more than 15 hours of interviews with Epstein but said he was not media-training him, but rather making “a previously unannounced eight- to 10-hour documentary” about Epstein’s “perversions and depravity toward young women” and links to the “global establishment”.

Earlier this year, Ira Rosen, a veteran 60 Minutes producer, discussed how he set up “one of the all-time great” 60 Minutes interviews with Bannon himself. Bannon, he said, told him he believed Trump had early stage dementia and might be removed from office. That claim did not make the final tape.

Asked by Yahoo News how seriously people should take Bannon’s claims, Rosen said “the trick in trying to deal with Steve” was to work out how much was meant simply to draw attention to himself.

Epstein was convicted in 2008 of soliciting sex from underage girls. He killed himself in custody in August 2019, awaiting trial on new sex-trafficking charges.

His former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, awaits trial in New York on sex trafficking charges. She has pleaded not guilty. Last week, Prince Andrew was served with an affidavit in a lawsuit brought by an alleged Epstein victim, Virginia Giuffre, who says she was forced to have sex with him when she was 17, an allegation the prince “absolutely and categorically” denies.
