Ah sorry that was an oversimplification. The point is my second paragraph. Why isn’t there a law?
Because none of the public was overseeing the government to watch it didn’t go corrupt.
Yes we had worlds fairs to distract us and world wars to depress us so we didn’t watch what was happening. Still our fault. . Imagine if we’d have written bills against what is happening now, back when that kind of mess first started?
If we had pushed for laws
-against the privatization of the federal money system
-against dual citizenship of congressional members
-against citizens United lobbying
-that would remove immunity from vaccine companies
-that would limit spending
-that would require a balanced budget
-that would reduce interest rates,
I mean you name it. It was OUR responsibility to push for laws.

Why isn’t there laws in place? Because WE didn’t push for them.
