Check "Operation Paperclip" to be sure, but I'm pretty sure the US snapped up the Nazis' #1 chemical weapons specialist as war booty and brought him back here to go to work for us.
The average person just has no idea how many Nazis, even a few who were tried at Nuremberg, convicted and in prison, ended up whisked out of there and to the USA and South America. The numbers are in the thousands and when you consider, it wasn't the lower ranking Nazi military, it was their brain trust.
I'm 100% convinced that their school of thought is very much alive and kicking, after being incubated in a few select locations.
