I am kicking myself for not saving research I did about DNC rules for nomination substitution. I didn't know it would become important years later.

I can tell you all that the rues for DNC are not exactly the same as RNC but relatively close.

There is a difference in what power DNC has PRE convention vs post convention. There is also a difference in post election night and inauguration.

My recollection of DNC rules is they have the power to substitute a complete stranger in the process post convention but pre election. Meaning If Joe wins delegates at convention but becomes incapacitated before election day, they can slip any name they vote on in his place. If they wait until after election night, the VP of choice gets sworn in as acting President.

If anons are following what has already happened in primaries, you can see the table being set to do just this.

NH primaries got busted for telling local Dem offices to instruct people that the primary is not important so they don't need to come out and vote. https://www.doj.nh.gov/news/2024/20240108-democratic-cease-desist.html#:~:text=Concord%2C%20NH%20%E2%80%93%20On%20January%208,Party%20(%E2%80%9CNHDP%E2%80%9D).

NEXT Dems prohibited any other name on the ballot for 4 States . Link for 1 State https://www.newsfromthestates.com/article/decision-put-only-bidens-name-fl-ballot-march-2024-spawned-federal-lawsuit

We are most likely going to face the scenario where a democrat name gets placed in just before the deadline to print ballots.

They are currently downplaying any vote in the primary for Joe. This is because they don't want people committing. ( hence the uncommitted vote in MI)

They are trying to hold the appearance of a base together long enough to spring a candidate on people and hope they vote Democrat no matter the candidate. In the end, the DNC will choose who is on the top of the ticket. They don't want to piss people off right now by making it obvious that they have no real vote. The top of the ticket has already been chosen and it is not palpable to the D base. They just want people to fall in line

you could be right because that would cause a meeting with DNC to vote his replacement. It will depend on the ballot printing deadlines. Each State is different and it pisses me off that I didn't think I should save that info 4 years ago.
