Vermont

the land of the Rockerfellers owning whole towns.

The place where the state quarter had the Rockerfeller something or other in woodstock as it's design.

The place where there are no national parks but

the federal government Department of Commerce manages a lot of the land (national forests)

people are either really well off or

squatting on welfare.

I love it and hate it all at the same time.

ah, that explains it.

In massachusetts if you are registered as a Dem you CANNOT vote in the Republican primary.

it doesn't make sense.

Well, anyway, Vermont is a marxist run dictatorship.

the haves and the servants of the haves.

https://www.vermontpublic.org/local-news/2024-02-15/your-guide-to-vermonts-presidential-primary-voting

from this page:

"Do I need to be registered with a political party to vote in the primary?

No. Vermont doesnโ€™t have party registration, and we have open primaries โ€” meaning any voter can choose to vote the ballot of either party.

In the presidential primary, the poll worker will write down whether you choose the Republican or Democratic ballot, and that choice will become public record."

They don't have party registration in Vermont!

It's rediculous.

And so it seems that many Democrats voted in the Republican primary to sabotage it for Donald Trump!

It's a meaningless primary.

they do NOT have party registration so Democrats, knowing that Biden would win the Dem primary, voted in the Republican one.

It's a meaningless primary. Basically the Republican party should tell Vermont to pound sand.

Wikipedia page on Vermont 2020 Presidential race:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_United_States_presidential_election_in_Vermont

notice how few , in relationship to this years primary, voted in the Republican race in 2020.

notice how few , in relatinship to the Democrat primary in 2020, voted in the Democrat race this year.

it's a meaningless election!

if one party has an unopposed candidate (virtually) everyone can pig pile into the other party's primary and throw it to a sure loser in the final.

https://www.cnn.com/election/2024/primaries-and-caucuses/results/vermont/

with 92% of the vote counted:

a total of 67,000 (or so) voted this year in the Republican primary in Vermont.

a total of 39,000, or so, voted in the year 2020 in the same primary.

so there were 28,000 additional voters.

in 2020 Donald Trump got 33,984 votes, which is 86.49% of those who voted.

Trump basically got the same number of votes as he did in 2020's primary where he won 86.49 %

where did all the extra voters come from.

one merely looks to the participation in the Democrat primary and see the drop in participation.

with 70 % of the Democrat vote in Biden scores approximately 54,000 votes.

total votes about 59,000

figure in the final count there will be 85,000 votes in the democrate primary.

that is about 75 000 fewer voters than that same primary in 2020.

where did all the voters go?

admittedly in 2020 there was a favorite-person (Bernie) on the ballot.

So, the Vermont Republican primary does not show how Repulicans, or independants , view President Trump but just that there are a lot of Democrats who love to screw with the elections of the other parties.

https://www.govexec.com/workforce/2024/03/doj-issues-gag-order-immigration-judges/394694/

" DOJ issues 'gag order' on immigration judges

Biden administration says the union representing the judges can no longer speak publicly without agency sign off"

so they call these people judges but they are not part of the Judiciary but part of the Executive branch?

They are merely employees of DOJ?

how are they then judges? We're supposed to have a government of three branches.

I say stop calling them judges.

I say that the one branch, the executive, is trying to claim all the power, like would happen in a dictatorship.

the Judiciary and the Congress should assert their powers and reign in this clown-show executive branch.
