PICTURED: Retired Army lieutenant colonel, 63, accused of giving secret details about the Russian military to his Ukrainian girlfriend on dating app - as his Facebook likes include 'all about Russian girls' and 'twisted babes'

  • Retired Army lieutenant colonel David Franklin Slater, 63, was arrested Saturday

  • Among the charged he got were illegally disclosing national defense information

  • He plead not guilty to all three charges on Tuesday and is set to be let out on bail

An Air Force contractor accused of spilling military secrets about Russia to a Ukrainian girlfriend has been pictured for the first time.

Retired Army lieutenant colonel David Franklin Slater, 63, was arrested Saturday on charges of illegally disclosing national defense information and conspiracy.

He plead not guilty to all three charges on Tuesday and is set to be released from jail on Wednesday pending trial.

The veteran, who retired in 2020, served in Afghanistan and Germany during his time in the Army. His social media likes show he had an interest for Russian and Ukrainian women.

He was assigned to the U.S. Strategic Command at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska and had Top Secret security clearance from August 2021 until April 2022, attending briefings between February and April 2022 about Russia's war with Ukraine, the Justice Department said.

Despite having signed paperwork pledging not to disclose classified information, he allegedly intentionally and improperly shared details about military targets and Russian capabilities on an online messaging dating platform with an unindicted co-conspirator who claimed to be a woman living in Ukraine.

The co-conspirator is referred to as Slater's 'secret informant love' and described him as her 'secret agent.'

Court documents show she showed a keen interest in how the war was progressing and what any future plans might be. At least nine messages were identified by authorities where the woman asks for specific details about the military operation.

'American Intelligence says that already 100 percent of Russian troops are located on the territory of Ukraine. Do you think this information can be trusted?' the woman asks on March 7.

Four days later, she is seen asking specifics about data shown in one of the offices.

'Dear, what is shown on the screens in the special room?? It is very interesting,' she writes.

'By the way, you were the first to tell me that NATO members are traveling by train and only now (already evening) this was announced on our news. You are my secret informant love! How were your meetings? Successfully?' the woman confirms.

Madonna looks back at 'near-death' health scare at Celebration Tour stop in Los Angeles… as she reveals the first word she said after waking from coma

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-13161671/Madonna-near-death-health-scare-Celebration-Tour-Los-Angeles.html

Madonna faced her mortality head on during a reflective moment of her first Celebration Tour show in Los Angeles on Monday night.

The 65-year-old music icon paused her performance at the Kia Forum to look back on her shocking health scare in June of 2023, when she was rushed to a hospital after being found unresponsive as the result of what was later determined to be a serious bacterial infection.

The songstress was taken to the ICU and had to be intubated, and she later revealed that she was put into a medically induced coma as she battled for her life despite going into lung and kidney failure.

Despite her 'near-death' experience, Madonna remained defiant.

'This show every night is not really so hard on me physically. It’s hard on me emotionally because I’m really telling you the story of my life,' she told the audience, according to Just Jared. 'My heart is on my sleeve. I’ve fallen off a lot of horses and broken a lot of bones… but nothing can stop me.'

Madonna went on to reveal the first word she allegedly said after waking from her four-day coma: 'No!'

>'I’m pretty sure that was God saying to me, "Do you want to come? Want to come up with me?"' To which she replied, 'No!'

The Into The Groove singer revealed that one of the doctors who had cared for her during her health scare was in the audience that night, and she recalled how he coached her through her difficult recovery period after she was discharged from the hospital.

'I would call in every other day and ask [my doctor] why I didn’t have any energy, when was my energy going to come back? When was I going to feel like myself again? When can I go on tour again?' she recalled.

'All he would say is, "Go outside in the sun" … It was so hard for me to walk from my house to the backyard and sit in the sun. I know that sounds insane, but it was difficult,' she admitted. 'It’s a strange thing to finally not feel like I was in control, and that was my lesson… to let go.'

The singer (born Madonna Ciccone) credited her six kids with helping to get her back on her feet and in front of adoring audiences again.

'My children are what really helped me pull through because they worked so hard,' she shared. 'I didn’t want to let them down, so I just set a date. And that date became reality.'

During a previous tour date in Brooklyn in December, the dance music pioneer joked that she had to 'almost die to get all my kids in one room.'

She shares 27-year-old daughter Lourdes with her former boyfriend and fitness trainer Carlos Leon and her 23-year-old son Rocco with her ex-husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie.

Madonna later adopted her son David Banda, 18; daughter Chifundo 'Mercy' James, 18; and twin daughters Stella and Estere, 11.
