A German man who received 217 COVID vaccinations becomes focus of new immunisation research
In short: German researchers have studied the immune response of a 62-year-old man who they say had received more than 200 COVID shots for "private reasons" within the space of 29 months.
The published results showed he had no vaccine-related side effects, and his immune system continued to respond to subsequent doses.
What's next? The researchers cautioned against generalising the findings from this singular case to the wider population, adding they "do not endorse hypervaccination".
