Re: Ear Ringing/Buzzing.
I just experienced something interesting tonight. A rain blew in. Nothing special, nothing dramatic, just a normal early morning summer rain to cool off a summer morning that lasted about 30 minutes came in today. When it did, the persistent, singular, continuous ringing tone only in my left ear stopped. This is the first time I have had a break from that hideous noise since last September. It was a noticeable, if only brief, relief!
For years, I worked at a music venue. It hurt the hearing. It sucked! After a few days off, the ringing in my ears would stop.
I've been away from that job for nearly 10 years now. None of my work involved the nightclub/bar kind of physical body damage BY DESIGN! I've tried to give my body a break to heal.
It's been great! Lots of things became less of a problem (I'll just leave it at that.) BUT… the past couple of years, for no clear reason I can account for, my ear (at first it was EARS, but it settled into just my left ear after about 4 months) began ringing. It rings a singular and high-pitched monotone continuously with no breaks or fluctuations regardless of environment.
OK. Maybe it's damage. BUT, like I said, I was AWAY from sound pollution that had plagued me in the past….for YEARS, not just vacay!!! And it was ONLY in one ear!
I can't contribute this to anything, but OK… Life sucks, shit happens…. Whatever.
I'm only mentioning this because I JUST experienced a rain shower… Not a storm… No electric stuff… No pressure stuff that made my sinuses run….. BUT the ringing stopped. It was nice!
As soon as it stopped raining, yep…. Right back to the ringtone!
Anyone else noticed this?
