If Jesus rose in 30 AD, one day (or 1000 years) later would be 1030, two days (or 2000 years) later would be 2030.
Three days would be the start of the first day AFTER some specific day in 2030, and go until 3030.

Why would you think that selection has ever been different, since inception? There are always been the wealthy, the priest class, and secret societies.
