cannibalism

island folk, like those from dominican rep or trinidad or any of those areas in caribbean - they would be mostly aware of cannibalism, if not on their land, but in haiti, yes?

i say that b/c there are a ton of those immigrants currently in USA, so this would not necessarily be "news"โ€ฆno?

if "brigitte" is claiming that she is the baby on woman's lap in family photo, then the brother on far left (who is more likely to be brigette born a boy) would be about 10 or so?

i found this from "the guardian" published in 2017

Like her husband, Brigitte Trogneux, known as โ€œBibiโ€, was born in the northern city of Amiens in the Somme. Both are from bourgeois backgrounds. She was the youngest of six children โ€“her closest brother was 20 years olderโ€“ in a family that have been the cityโ€™s most famous chocolatiers and confectioners for generations.
