More importantly, what happens if THEY need to stand at attention before a Superior Officer after the flight looking all UNPROFESSIONAL with that unapproved facial decoration?

It's completely non uniform.

He should shave, and wear some makeup that compliments his skin tone…for increased professionalism.

Kinda weird tho…

Looks like the Great Lakes Area gets a lot moar than it's fair share…

Maybe that's the obsession with the "eclipse crossing locations"?

Old School Meteor Impact Location Predictions?

Could the Priests of the Stone/Bronze/Iron Age predict Civilization Ending Meteor Impacts?

Is that why the phenomena isn't even mentioned in "The Holy Books"?

"Pretend it isn't real… Blame Satan?"

The Sum of all Fears v. The Sweet Meteor of Death

Which one do "we" (humanity collectively) spend moar time talking about?

How much energy to we consume debating ways to prevent global thermonuclear war…while not "collectively" talking about "The Thing"?

What ended the Dinosaurs?

What ended the Ice Age

What ended the Anasazi?

Did Theia (theoretical moon creating impactor) destroy proto-earth?

Are all that we see the result of that "destruction"?

Or maybe asteroid impacts aren't really civilization ending concerns?

>Comet

Earth encounters meteor showers when passing through the fields of asteroids left by COMETs orbiting the Sun.

This is a list of examples where an asteroid or meteoroid travels close to the Earth. Some are regarded as potentially hazardous objects if they are estimated to be large enough to cause regional devastation.
