The thing that has been bothering me about the whole Biden classified docs story is this:

If I were setting up a document control system chain of custody documentation would be an intrinsic part of it. How can you control access to documents if you don't know who has them? If there is a chain of custody system then the officials in charge of maintaining access controls had to know that Biden had the docs, which in my mind makes them complicit in any misuse he made of them.

But then this is government so maybe they just let any old person take docs whenever they want as long as they promise not to tell anyone.
