Vinheteiro
plays for his new born!
Congratulations to him and his new baby!
It's a pretty spot, easy to get to, easy to park, and a good place to take a walk on Spring day.
The daffodils bloom on the hillside beyond the bridge.
are you posting a self description, anon?
don't listen to him, anon. It's a very beautiful spot, the river is clean, the field is wide and the visitor center is friendly.
Plus there are other places near by which are also fun to visit, such as Waldon Pond or Poets Ridge (where a lot of famous people are buried, like Henry and others.)
and there are usually no crowds, and you can have a nice private time.
ah, the famous cabin.
Have I got a story about that!
The year was 1975 . . .
there was no cabin.
there were some people who my friend said were on 'window pane'.
The place where the cabin was had a bordering ring, like a ring for boxers, and it was a dirt floor.
one of them started taking money out of his pocket and laying it on the ground to dry.
they were soaking wet.
next thing two of them were wrestling, having taken off their clothes, so that they could dry, I suppose.
It was spring time, a week before the big celebration.
I'd never heard about LSD before . . .
my friend and I rode off on our bikes and he explained to me what LSD is.
the two were wrestling inside the space of the cabin, because it looked like a fight venue.
It's a shame you can't just swim where ever you want anymore. It's really one of those awesome summer pond type places.
I do remember that there was a large pile of stones there . . .
what was the reason for that?
