Update. Mentions the board.
Was looking at the ranch property online where Angela Chao died. Got into google maps and started having a look around the satellite view. It's on Miller's Creek. And a lot of the properties in the area have put dams on Miller's Creek to create ponds. The Chao property has two of them. Anon remembers reading, less than a year ago, an article about some people were pretty mad that these rich people were buying land in the Austin area and damming up creeks to create these very same type of water features on their property. Don't remember if Miller's Creek was mentioned as being one or not. But the point was that their might be some question about the permitting and legality of doing this on your property. Seems like the story some rich fucks had just gone ahead and done it anyway. And some people were pretty mad about it. Anyway, started wondering who or what might be affected downstream on Miller's Creek and whatever waterway it fed into. So started zooming out on google maps and was shocked to see that Miller's Creek feeds into the Pedernales River just upstream of Pedernales Falls State Park. Anon just does not understand how these dams on Miller's Creek were ever even allowed to exist in the first place given their location and the fact that they feed directly into a gorgeous Texas State treasure like Pedernales Falls State Park. Have persoanlly been there many years ago and it is just amazing to behold. I guess if you have enough money you can pretty much do whatever you want to though. Zuckerburg in Hawaii is one example that comnes to mind. It's really sad the double standards that are allowed to exist in our society.
