Some anons got big mad when it was dropped as the only banner for the Generals back in late 2020.
However, it was never as edict from Q/Q+ that it had to be the only banner ever to be used.

Since around Feb 2018 the photo of Iwo Jima has been in the banner.
It's just the one specific banner that had Iwo stopped being used.
It all started Halloween Night Shift in 2020 when other versions of Iwo started being used.
