President Trump could very easily stop giving them a reason to say these things. He actually said that and even though I support him, I think his choice of words are beneath him and the the office he is running for. He is an intelligent man and is able to choose better words and his supporters are not doing President Trump any favors by defending statements like this.
I didn't say he was fucking up bigly but I do think he is only hurting himself by expressing himself in this manner. I think this extreme even for Trump. The goal is not just to win the election, but to also unite the American people as much as possible without pandering.
I understand what President Trump meant when he said this; I am pointing out that he is not choosing to express himself in a way that doesn't encourage more division.
