i was eating in a diner at a table near the cash register
there were several people in line waiting to pay
a woman at the front of the line dropped a $20 and didn't notice
the "man of the cloth behind her" quickly bent over and snatched it up
he did NOT return it to the woman who had dropped it
instead he hurried out the door
i chased him down and confronted him
he gave me a shit-eating grin and said he meant to return the money
i took it from him and gave it back to the woman standing there in disbelief
