It's a tremendous amount to know but if you want power then you have to go low level and build everything yourself. For example, FB React is the number one web framework but setup is a lot of boilerplate code so people use a script to setup a project to get coding. Unfortunately it adds about 5k files to a site and slows it down to a crawl.
