She recently gave a stirring and rare, courageous speech warning against the German government being on the warpath with Russia, also as a handful of European leaders, with France's Macron leading the way, even contemplating sending Western troops to Ukraine as a viable 'option'.

"Have you all lost your minds?" she questioned members of the Bundestag. She said in the speech: "The Scholz government has already crossed one red line after the other. In the meantime we reached the point where German Air Force officers calmly debate how to destroy Russian targets with German cruise missiles…" She continued, "The scandal is that we have reached a point where it has become normal to have such debates."

Wagenknecht went on: "Our grandiose military experts from the Greens have been telling us for two years now what 'game changer' we have to deliver next so that Ukraine can win this war." The hawks "dream" about using German missiles to "destroy ministries in Moscow," she said. "And when the pope speaks out against this madness, saying that Kiev should negotiate rather than drive the country to suicide, he was called a 'Putin troll'." She then emphasized, "The whole world outside the German political bubble knows that Ukraine cannot with this war. For a long time there has been no winning in Ukraine. MUSK'S SPACEX IS BUILDING SPY SATELLITE NETWORK FOR US INTELLIGENCE AGENCY, SOURCES SAY

SpaceX is building a network of hundreds of spy satellites under a classified contract with a U.S. intelligence agency, five sources familiar with the program said, demonstrating deepening ties between billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk's space company and national security agencies.

The network is being built by SpaceX's Starshield business unit under a $1.8 billion contract signed in 2021 with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), an intelligence agency that manages spy satellites, the sources said.

The plans show the extent of SpaceX's involvement in U.S. intelligence and military projects and illustrate a deeper Pentagon investment into vast, low-Earth orbiting satellite systems aimed at supporting ground forces.

If successful, the sources said the program would significantly advance the ability of the U.S. government and military to quickly spot potential targets almost anywhere on the globe.

The contract signals growing trust by the intelligence establishment of a company whose owner has clashed with the Biden administration and sparked controversy, opens new tab over the use of Starlink satellite connectivity in the Ukraine war, the sources said.

The Wall Street Journal reported, opens new tab in February the existence of a $1.8 billion classified Starshield contract with an unknown intelligence agency without detailing the purposes of the program.

Reuters reporting discloses for the first time that the SpaceX contract is for a powerful new spy system with hundreds of satellites bearing Earth-imaging capabilities that can operate as a swarm in low orbits, and that the spy agency that Musk's company is working with is the NRO.

Reuters was unable to determine when the new network of satellites would come online and could not establish what other companies are part of the program with their own contracts.

SpaceX, the world's largest satellite operator, did not respond to several requests for comment about the contract, its role in it and details on satellite launches. The Pentagon referred a request for comment to the NRO and SpaceX.

In a statement the NRO acknowledged its mission to develop a sophisticated satellite system and its partnerships with other government agencies, companies, research institutions and nations, but declined to comment on Reuters' findings about the extent of SpaceX’s involvement in the effort.

"The National Reconnaissance Office is developing the most capable, diverse, and resilient space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance system the world has ever seen," a spokesperson said.

The satellites can track targets on the ground and share that data with U.S. intelligence and military officials, the sources said. In principle, that would enable the U.S. government to quickly capture continuous imagery of activities on the ground nearly anywhere on the globe, aiding intelligence and military operations, they added.

Biden knew Israel was bombing indiscriminately – WaPo

The US president was told in October that Israeli airstrikes were often carried out without “solid intelligence,” the newspaper claims

The White House knew since late October that Israel was regularly bombing civilian targets in Gaza, but President Joe Biden continued to publicly defend the Israeli military’s conduct, the Washington Post reported on Monday.

On October 27, three weeks into Israel’s war with Hamas, Biden’s top foreign policy officials told a small group at the White House that “Israel was regularly bombing buildings without solid intelligence that they were legitimate military targets,” the newspaper wrote, citing three sources familiar with the meeting.

The officials also expressed concern that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had no clear plan for defeating the Palestinian militant group, with one source telling the Post that “from the very beginning, there’s been a sense of us not knowing how the Israelis were going to do what they said they were going to do.”

At the time, the US was rushing military aid to Israel. Two weeks before the meeting, Biden visited the Jewish state and publicly declared that “as long as the United States stands…[Israel] will not be alone.” On the same day as the meeting, White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters that the US would not impose any “red lines” on how Israel conducted its military campaign.

The meeting did little to change the rhetoric of Biden or his officials. The president didn’t criticize Israel over the repeated bombing of a refugee camp in early November. Likewise, the White House publicly backed Israel’s decision to bomb Gaza’s largest hospital later that month, with Kirby telling reporters that Hamas had hidden a command center beneath the facility.

Behind the scenes, however, US officials worried that such a statement would be seen by the Israelis as a “green light” to attack the hospital, the Washington Post reported. Democratic Senator Chris van Hollen told the newspaper that there was “some disconnect” between what Kirby said and what US intelligence reports actually showed, without explaining further.

Amid growing discontent from his own voters, Biden has since become more critical of Netanyahu. As early as January, the US president claimed that he was “quietly working with the Israeli government to get them to reduce and significantly get out of Gaza.” However, “When those conversations yielded little result, US officials offered few public rebukes and no evident consequences,” the Post’s sources said.

Supreme Court rejects Peter Navarro's bid to stay out of prison while he appeals conviction

He is scheduled to report to prison on Tuesday.

The Supreme Court on Monday rejected an emergency request from former Trump advisor Peter Navarro to remain out of prison while he appeals his conviction for contempt of Congress.

Chief Justice John Roberts denied the request, Politico reported.

Navarro was convicted of contempt of Congress in September 2023 after he refused to comply with a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 Committee. He received a four-month prison sentence earlier this year. He sought the High Court's intervention on Friday after the appeals court declined to let him stay out of jail.

He is scheduled to report to a federal prison in Miami, Fla., at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Former White House advisor Steve Bannon was also convicted of contempt of Congress for ignoring a subpoena from the same panel and received a prison sentence of the same length. U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols, however, suspended the sentence while he appeals his conviction.

Russia Mulls Security Buffer Zone As Ukraine Drones Shut Down 600,000 Barrels Of Daily Refining

After Russian President Vladimir Putin's post-election victory speech and Q&A with the press wherein he first unveiled the possibility of creating a buffer zone between Ukrainian land and Russian border regions, the Kremlin has issued more details of the plan being mulled.

Putin had initially described Sunday, "I do not exclude that, bearing in mind the tragic events taking place today, we will be forced at some point, when we deem it appropriate, to create a certain ‘sanitary zone’ in the territories today under the Kyiv regime." He referenced the "tragic events" of cross-border attacks in regions bordering Ukraine which have left scores of civilians dead and wounded over the past several months.

Putin described without elaborating further that the security zone "would be quite difficult for the adversary to overcome with its weapons, primarily of foreign origin."

On Monday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that as part of the plan Russia "would take measures to safeguard [its] territories" from Ukrainian drone and artillery attacks on critical infrastructure and civilian areas and residences. These areas can be made safe, he explained in follow-up to Putin's words, "some kind of corridor, some kind of… buffer zone that [would put] out of reach any means that the enemy might use to launch strikes."

From Moscow's perspective, this is laying the foundation and likely even 'legal framework' for seizing and solidifying hold over border territories inside Ukraine for the purpose of creating this proposed buffer. In many cases thus far throughout the war, Ukraine forces have been able to send drones hundreds of kilometers inside Russia, reaching even Moscow and St. Petersburg in rare instances.

Oil refineries have been especially targeted, with a dozen or more instances in merely the last few months alone. Crimea too has come under increased drone swarm attack.

The attacks on energy are clearly beginning to have significant impact on a chief source of revenue, part of which no doubt goes to fund the Russian war machine in Ukraine.

CNN’s Aaron Rodgers Hit Piece Proves Corporate Media Works For Democrats

Rarely is the collusion between the mainstream press and the Democratic Party as apparent as it was on Thursday, when CNN Jake Tapper launched an all-out assault on, of all people, Aaron Rodgers.

Within a day of the New York Jets quarterback emerging as a leading choice to run with independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Tapper claimed Rodgers shared Sandy Hook conspiracy theories with CNN reporter Pamela Brown at a party following the 2013 Kentucky Derby.

“Hearing that [Brown] was a journalist with CNN, Rodgers immediately began attacking the news media for covering up important stories,” Tapper’s CNN.com story alleged. “Rodgers brought up the tragic killing of 20 children and 6 adults by a gunman at Sandy Hook Elementary School, claiming it was actually a government inside job and the media was intentionally ignoring it.”

Brown did not record the alleged conversation, took no notes, and apparently told no one else about it for nearly 11 years, but on Thursday—the day after Kennedy first floated the possibility of adding Rodgers to his ticket—she was finally ready to report on their conversation.

CNN’s apparent lack of any editorial standards in publishing such an unprovable story notwithstanding, the timing of it was notable—especially after TMZ.com reported just a few hours after Tapper first broke the story that the Democratic National Committee was so scared of Rodgers’s potential to swing votes from President Biden and toward Kennedy that it was actively digging up dirt on the quarterback.

“DNC members acknowledge third-party candidates can easily play spoiler in a close election … so all the more reason to face Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and possibly Rodgers head-on,” TMZ reported Thursday afternoon. “Moving forward, we’re told Democrats will be looking through old Rodgers interviews and dredging up the skeletons in the QB’s locker. Essentially, they’re welcoming AR to a whole new kind of gridiron … one where Rodgers isn’t likely to get an unnecessary roughness call in his favor.”

What a coincidence! On the very same day that high-ranking Democrats express their fears about Rodgers, CNN ignores every fundamental standard of journalistic ethics to slam him! It’s almost as if Tapper and Brown were following orders that had gone out from the DNC that very day and were not acting as journalists but opposition researchers.

It would make sense that Rodgers would wind up in their crosshairs, as he would provide enough celebrity cache (and, frankly, enough weirdness) to keep Kennedy’s campaign in the headlines straight through to Election Day. He wouldn’t even need to take time away from football to campaign: Every locker room interview, every postgame press conference, every Pat McAfee appearance would give him ample opportunity to tout his running mate.

Moreover, Rodgers played nearly all of his NFL career for the Green Bay Packers, who are less a football team than a religion in the critical swing state of Wisconsin. To be sure, he has alienated plenty of fans with the increasingly self-absorbed strangeness that contributed to the team’s decision to move on from him last year, but he still has a sizeable share of supporters.

Could just enough of them be persuaded to vote for a Kennedy-Rodgers ticket instead of a Biden-Harris one to deliver Wisconsin to former President Trump? Perhaps, especially since a third-party candidate almost certainly delivered the state to Trump in 2016.

There are two bunks per cell but so few occupants that the disgraced British socialite, 62, is almost guaranteed to have her own room as well as four times the storage.

'In the snake pit there are fights every day. The bullies jump the lines to use the phones and won't let you watch what you want on TV,' a prison source exclusively told DailyMail.com.

'The conditions in D South are more like the sort of thing Maxwell will have experienced when she attended boarding school as a young girl.

'Everything is well-ordered, there's less problems, less drama, fights are unheard of. Everyone gets along because they are so happy to be there.'

Maxwell's lawyers told New York's Second Circuit appeals court this week that she should never have been prosecuted for grooming Epstein's victims because of a provision in his 2008 sweetheart plea deal.

Epstein agreed a much-maligned 13-month work-release arrangement with Florida federal prosecutors which let him spend just a few hours per week in jail for soliciting underage girls for sex.

The deal also granted immunity to a list of the warped financier's alleged co-conspirators - although it didn't mention Maxwell, his ex-lover and chief accomplice, by name.

Maxwell's attorney Arthur Aidala argues she should be covered by the clause but the government says it makes no difference because the deal only applies to Florida.

If the three-judge panel chooses not to toss her 2021 conviction, federal prisoner 02879-509 – or Max as she's known behind bars - won't be eligible for release until July 2037.

FCI Tallahassee has been portrayed as more akin to a holiday camp where inmates can learn new languages, enjoy yoga classes and take part in softball tournaments.

Jake Sullivan Makes Antisemitic Claim Israel Interferes in American Politics

National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan made the antisemitic claim Monday in a White House press briefing that Israel interferes in U.S. politics.

He provided no evidence of his claim, while admitting that it had nothing to do with the question he had been asked, about policy differences between the U.S. and Israel in the ongoing war against Hamas.

Sullivan was asked to respond to Netanyahu’s claim that he had the support of the majority of the Israeli people in his plans to attack Hamas’s final stronghold in the city of Rafah, and whether Biden could speak directly to Israelis.

Netanyahu’s claim is backed by polls. One recent survey found that 75% of Israelis support an attack on Hamas in Rafah, where the terrorist leaders are believed to be hiding, and keeping the remaining 134 Israeli hostages.

Sullivan responded with what he admitted was a non sequitur.

“Well, first of all, inherent in the question is a kind of an interesting irony, which is you have the prime minister speaking on American television about his concerns about Americans interfering in Israeli politics, and then your question is should Americans be speaking into Israeli politics, which in fact we don’t do nearly as much as they speak into ours,” Sullivan said.

“But that’s not a constructive answer to your question, just an observation,” he added.

The Anti-Defamation League has specifically identified the claim that Israel or Jews control American politics as a form of antisemitism, common in anti-Israel propaganda in the Middle East.

There is no known example of Israel interfering in an American election — and certainly no Israeli leader has ever demanded that the U.S. replace its president, as President Joe Biden did last week with regard to Netanyahu.

Sullivan also said that in a phone call, Biden summoned officials from Israel to a meeting next week to discuss Rafah. Biden said it was “nonsense” that opposing an attack on Hamas in Rafah meant allowing Hamas to win the war.
