Israeli settlers vandalise UNRWA's Jerusalem headquarters, threaten staff

Israeli settlers this morning vandalised the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) headquarters in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood, located in occupied East Jerusalem, affixing posters calling for its closure.

The UN agency has a headquarters in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in East Jerusalem. It also manages the Shuafat refugee camp, in addition to a number of schools and medical facilities.

According to Wafa news agency, video footage shows a group of Israeli settlers placing posters on the main entrance of the agency’s headquarters, accompanied by threats against its staff unless it shuts down.

Security and local sources have reported a recent surge in Israeli incitement directed at UNRWA and its Jerusalem headquarters after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed 12 of the agency’s staff took part in the 7 October attack on Israel. No evidence has been provided for his claims, which have been brought into question not only by the UN, but by a number of Western governments.

Today’s protest comes after the Deputy Mayor of the West Jerusalem Municipality, the far-right Aryeh King, penned a letter to the extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, ordering him to evacuate the international agency from its headquarters in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in Jerusalem.

He also demanded the evacuation of the Qalandiya Training College, based north of the city, also known as the “Vocational Training Centre” of UNRWA.

Israel has repeatedly equated UNRWA staff with Hamas members in efforts to discredit them, providing no proof of the claims, while lobbying hard to have UNRWA closed as it is the only UN agency to have a specific mandate to look after the basic needs of Palestinian refugees.

If the agency no longer exists, argues Israel, then the refugee issue must no longer exist, and the legitimate right for Palestinian refugees to return to their land will be unnecessary. Israel has denied that right of return since the late 1940s, even though its own membership of the UN was made conditional upon Palestinian refugees being allowed to return to their homes and land.

DOJ: Jim Biden associate conspired with alleged mafia boss to defraud Medicare

A new filing accuses Keaton Langston of participating in Medicare fraud alongside an alleged ‘consigliere’ to the Colombo crime family.

Prosecutors said a business associate of Jim Biden conspired to defraud Medicare alongside an alleged leader of the Colombo crime family in a brief filed Friday in federal court in New Jersey.

The government’s accusation is likely to intensify scrutiny of the ties between President Joe Biden’s brother and the associate, Mississippi businessman Keaton Langston.

The Justice Department named Langston as a co-conspirator in the ongoing fraud case just three weeks after congressional investigators grilled Jim Biden about his relationship with the Mississippi businessman. In the course of a previous prosecution, the Justice Department identified a defendant in the fraud case, Florida businessman Thomas Farese, as a high-ranking member of the Colombo crime family, according to court filings.

Last month, POLITICO reported that Jim Biden had accompanied Langston, the son of a longtime friend, at a May 2017 meeting at which they pitched the services of Langston’s medical lab testing business to a hospital chain. The hospital chain, Americore, has become a focus of the impeachment inquiry led by House Republicans that is probing potential links between the president and his relatives’ business dealings.

A spokesperson for Jim Biden, Brian McDonough, did not respond to a request for comment. Though the government has identified Langston as a co-conspirator, he has not been named as a defendant in the case. He did not respond to requests for comment made to a phone number believed to belong to him. Attorney Casey Langston Lott, a cousin of Langston’s who has represented Langston at times, said he was not in a position to comment and did not respond to a follow-up request for help contacting Langston directly.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment. Joe Biden has said he never discussed his relatives’ business dealings.

POLITICO’s investigation found that Jim Biden leveraged his brother’s name to promote Americore and that his involvement with the hospital chain began with the May 2017 meeting, which also included Langston’s father, Joey Langston.

POLITICO also obtained emails from Joey Langston to Jim Biden, Keaton Langston and others related to the planning of partners’ meetings of the lab services business, Fountain Health.

Timcast host Tim Pool in a recent podcast accused reporter Liam Cosgrove of having "Israel derangement syndrome" for criticizing Israel's grip on US foreign policy.

Pool accused Cosgrove on Friday of being "obsessed" with Israel and questioned why he doesn't talk about "Australia" trying to get America into a war with China.

A visibly agitated Pool tried to claim he doesn't care about the Israel-Gaza war (the number one story for the past five months on every major media outlet) and questioned why Cosgrove wouldn't talk about "Burma" and "Taiwan."

Pool claimed Israel does not control America but instead America is "pulling the strings" of Israel.

"I would argue Israel is pulling a lot of our strings in terms of foreign policy," Cosgrove said before Pool interrupted.

"I think you're wrong," Pool said. "I think we're pulling the strings of Israel, that's the real that's really what's going on because Israel is an intelligence and military asset for us in the Middle East so when we are staging"

"So how is it an asset if they've gotten us into so many wars in the Middle East?" Cosgrove shot back.

"No, no, those are our wars," Pool said.

"The founding neocons who you know the PNAC group those guys were Americans but they basically did all that for Israel," Cosgrove said.

"I think Australia is roping us into this war with China," Pool responded, changing the subject. "Why are we sending in ships and personnel to Australia?!"

Pool later went on to say we should "focus on what matters – Ukraine" and complained that Cosgrove was "obsessed" with Israel for continuing to talk about the issue.

A 47-year-old New York City woman was recently arrested for unlawful eviction after trying to prevent squatters from re-entering the $1 million property bequeathed to her by her family.

Adele Andaloro changed the locks on the Flushing, Queens home, which according to NYC law is not allowed if "tenants" have inhabited a building for more than 30 days, which in this case, some had.

According to ABC7, a number of people began occupying the home on February 6 and refused to leave. When a crew went out to interview Andaloro, one of the squatters arrived at the property and unlocked the door. After being confronted, however, she fled.

With the door wide open, Andaloro and the crew entered. In addition to her furniture, she discovered two men sleeping in a room at the back of the house, one of whom had only been "renting" for two days. A number of 911 calls were placed, and when police showed up, they took the men away.

Andaloro explained that police told her they could arrest her if the locksmith she had called earlier that day went ahead and changed the locks. Nonetheless, she told him to do it.

A short time later, the two men who had been apprehended returned to the property and confronted her, calling 911.

"Why is it that I have to leave and he doesn't have to leave?" Andaloro asked officers when they showed up, to which one replied, "Technically he can't be kicked out. You have to go to [housing] court."

One of the men claimed to have signed a lease in October, but failed to provide any proof. Andaloro, on the other hand, came prepared with all the necessary paperwork showing that it was, in fact, her home.

In the end, Andaloro was arrested and the men were allowed to remain in the home, pending further legal action.

She lamented the fact that, "by the time someone does their investigation, their work, and their job, it will be over 30 days and this man will still be in my home," referring to the second squatter who had only been there for two days.

Smart Cars Reporting to Govt – Insurance Rates up 26% YoY

Car insurance rates in the US have spiked by around 26% overall in the past year. The government has been pushing for everyone to go electric and trade, spending tens of thousands more for an electric vehicle, which always comes equipped with monitoring software. Even older cars with basic features like OnStar have tracking devices that report your driving behavior to the manufacturers who share your data with insurance companies and, ultimately, the government.

As for costs, Bankrate released a report that found drivers are now paying an additional $212 monthly fee ($2,543 annually) for car insurance. CBS noted that is about 3.41% of the median household salary based on the latest data from the US Census Bureau. Other states, such as Florida, have seen spikes so outrageous that the average Floridian spends 6% of their take-home on car insurance alone. Insurance companies blame hurricanes and natural disasters, but they have always been a naturally occurring phenomenon that were already priced in. Missouri saw the largest hike in premiums after auto insurance soared by 40% in one single year.

Inflation alone cannot be the culprit. LexisNexis, which tracks drivers’ behaviors and compiles risk profiles, has been sharing individual data with General Motors, who passes that information along to the insurance companies. One driver demanded that LexisNexis send him his personal report, which was a 258-page document containing every trip he or his wife took in his vehicle over a six-month period. LexisNexis said that this data will be used “for insurers to use as one factor of many to create more personalized insurance coverage.” They even reported small issues such as hard breaking and rapid acceleration, according to the report. “I don’t know the definition of hard brake. My passenger’s head isn’t hitting the dash,” an unnamed Cadillac driver enrolled in the OnStar Smart Driver subscription service told reporters.

One of the main successful components of Tesla is its ability to track user data. Its GPS tool calculates every lane of every road across the globe to enable the autonomous driving feature. Kevin O’Leary chastised his son for supporting and finding employment with Tesla, but his son then explained to him that Tesla was far more than an EV company. “Consider it a data company,” O’Leary’s son explained.

Now, I am not saying that Tesla specifically shares this information with the government. But the data is being passed along from the user to the manufacturer and then the insurance companies. Governments globally want to remove gas cars from the road and plan to prohibit new vehicles from using fossil fuels. Government wants a slice of that profit and numerous studies have found that drivers have absolutely no control over their data.

Data, the one item Congress nearly unanimously agreed upon when it came to a social media platform compared to the wide variety of actually dangerous data sharing issues. Studies have shown that cars may be susceptible to hacking. “Cars have microphones and people have all kinds of sensitive conversations in them. Cars have cameras that face inward and outward,” a researcher with Mozilla Foundation told the Los Angeles Times. In fact, 19 automakers in 2023 admitted that they have the ability to sell your personal data without notice. Law enforcement may subpoena these records as well.

These extremely deceptive and invasive practices are becoming commonplace. The people no longer trust governments, and governments no longer trust the people. This is a global issue as the elites everywhere are in a panic to regain control over an increasingly unruly public.

In an email released by WikiLeaks, a top Clinton aide at the State Department was communicating with Clinton Foundation officials about which contractors to hire, and was instructed to keep an eye out for emails with FOB (Friends of Bill) or WJC (William J. Clinton VIPs). Some of these friends of Bill turned out to be family members.
