One who protected mine, had a heart attack a few weeks ago when the fucker got arrested again. Once he got better, he found himself crying with pictures of me on his lap on his mother's couch, feeling like a sack of shit for them all turning their backs on me all those years.
I don't enjoy seeing them hurt.
But I warned them.
