“I Understand My Life is at Risk” – Election Integrity Activist Rick Weible Alleges in Real-Time Demonstration Vulnerabilities in ES&S Voting Software During County Board Meeting

On March 19th at a County Commission meeting in Brookings County, South Dakota, Rick Weible, an election integrity activist and founder of Midwest Swamp Watch, conducted a real-time exposé of ES&S ElectionWare software vulnerabilities. Sitting in front of the five board members present for the meeting, Weible began his presentation using just his laptop and a USB drive.

His testimony was specifically regarding ES&S’s ElectionWare software, however, most of the vulnerabilities have been discovered across other election vendor’s systems, including Dominion Voting, who’s vulnerabilities were documented in the Federal Curling v. Raffensperger trial in January, as reported by The Gateway Pundit.

Weible began his brief 5-minute testimony by claiming that he was sent a “critical piece of evidence from somewhere else in the country using the same voting system that [South Dakota] is certified for.” He then highlighted that the system conforms with the federal government’s Elections Assistance Commission (EAC) certifications.

Rick Weible: And I’ll just tell you flat out that it does conform to the certificate that is published by the EAC. Four of our counties also have the same type of hard drive. What I can show you immediately is that I was able to take a forensic copy of that hard drive and actually boot up the electionware system on a non-conforming laptop. That is a complete violation of the certificate which required that the trusted platform module be enabled.

It would be impossible normally for that hard drive to go off of a certified machine that is communicating with its chip to be able to boot up on here. And, the other piece of evidence that I have of nonconformity is that you will notice that I have a thumb drive on the side of it. That thumb drive is a bit locker key that is used to basically allow the security of the laptop to boot up. That is another violation because what is supposed to happen is it should be on an official Delkin thumb drive that is supposed to be serialized and secure. So I’ve just given you two pieces of evidence.

I’ve also shown another piece of evidence in other states that have published in lawsuits because their auditors and attorney generals and state’s attorneys did not do due diligence of publishing the manuals online in the court cases. Sheriff Stanick can confirm on page ten of this manual, the default administrator user and password is publicly available on the Internet. And I have that copy here. And I showed Sheriff Stannick page ten and he can confirm that the password is there and not redacted. The other manuals for the complete system, including the DS 200, 450 and 850, all of those passwords are available online as default.

We are also aware that when Sea Change was in charge of the elections during the last few years, the default password was “election one,” and it was universal across all the states that they were operating in. Thankfully, we’re using ES&S directly and they should be changing those passwords. My recommendation is that the password should be different for each of the machines. Don’t use the same password across the spectrum so that you can help delay it. The other piece is that you’re probably wondering if I can even log in to this laptop to actually get in.

‘Unconstitutional’ – Trump’s Legal Team Fights Back as Letitia James Takes Initial Step to Seize Trump’s Golf Course and Private Estate

President Trump’s legal team fought back as Letitia James took the initial step to seize Trump’s assets on Thursday after his attorney said he was unable to secure a bond to appeal the massive judgment in the NYC fraud case.

Letitia James filed judgments in Westchester County where Trump’s private estate and golf course is located.

President Trump has four days to either pay the judgment or convince the appellate court to allow him to defer the payment pending appeal.

Trump’s legal team has filed an appeal and requested a stay on the massive $464 million judgment.

On Thursday Trump’s attorneys sent a letter to the Appellate Division of New York’s Supreme Court and asserted Letitia James’ actions are “unconstitutional.”

“It would be completely illogical — and the definition of an unconstitutional Excessive Fine and a Taking — to require Defendants to sell properties at all, and especially in a ‘fire sale,’ in order to be able to appeal the lawless Supreme Court judgment, as that would cause harm that cannot be repaired once the Defendants do win, as is overwhelmingly likely, on appeal,” Trump’s attorney Cliff Robert wrote.

Trump’s attorney also said Letitia James’ demand that Trump pay the judgment in full in order to appeal is “unreasonable, unjust, and unconstitutional (under both the Federal and New York State Constitutions) bond condition, which would cause irreparable harm and foreclose any review of Supreme Court’s deeply flawed decision in this case.”

Medical charity workers have cautioned that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza could become “apocalyptic”

The humanitarian crisis in Gaza will turn “inestimably worse” if Israel launches its planned ground offensive against Hamas fighters holed up at the southern end of the Palestinian enclave, Western doctors have warned.

More than 1 million civilians, many reportedly starving, have taken refuge in the area after earlier Israeli attacks leveled their neighborhoods.

“This is probably the worst crisis that can happen within this war,” Dr. Zaher Sahloul, co-founder of the US-based MedGlobal medical charity, told reporters on Tuesday at the UN headquarters in New York. “If there is any offensive, they’re going to have a bloodbath, massacres after massacres.”

He added that his colleagues who are still working in Gaza have warned that an Israeli assault on Rafah could lead to 250,000 deaths.

Sahloul was among a group of Western doctors who traveled to Washington this week for meetings with US lawmakers and government officials to bring more attention to the desperate humanitarian conditions brought on by the Israel-Hamas war.

The doctors made their pleas for a ceasefire – and to call off the planned Rafah offensive – after doing volunteer work in the Gaza Strip earlier this year.

I saw the most appalling atrocities, and I saw things that I never would have expected to have seen in any health care setting,” said Dr. Nick Maynard, a UK surgeon who has worked in the Palestinian territories for more than a decade. “I saw things at Al-Aqsa [Martyrs] Hospital which I still wake up at night thinking about – appalling injuries, particularly in women and children.”

Maynard gave the example of a young girl who was burned so badly that he could see her facial bones. “We knew there was no chance of her surviving that,” he said. “But there was no morphine to give her, so not only was she inevitably going to die, but she would die in agony.” The girl was left on the floor of the emergency room to die.

Dr. Amber Alayyan, a Texas pediatrician who does volunteer work through Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières, MSF), said supply shortages have forced physicians in Gaza to make horrific choices, such as having to perform amputations without anesthetic. There are no beds available for many of the post-operative patients, and the condition of injured Gazans is deteriorating as their wounds rot.

CCP-Linked Virologist Fired After Transferring Ebola From Winnipeg To Wuhan Resurfaces In China - And Is Collaborating With Military Scientists

A virologist who had a "clandestine relationship" with Chinese agents and was subsequently fired by the Trudeau government has popped back up in China - where she's conducting research with Chinese military scientists and other virology researchers, including at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, where she's allegedly studying antibodies for coronavirus, as well as the deadly Ebola and Niaph viruses, the Globe and Mail reports.

Xiangguo Qiu and her husband Keding Cheng were fired from the National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg, Canada and stripped of their security clearances in July of 2019.

Declassified documents tabled in the House of Commons on Feb. 28 show the couple had provided confidential scientific information to China and posed a credible security threat to the country, according to the Canadian Security Intelligence Service.

The Globe found that Dr. Qiu’s name appears on four Chinese patent filings since 2020, two with the Wuhan Institute of Virology – whose work on bat coronaviruses has placed it at the centre of concerns that it played a role in the spread of COVID-19 – and two with the University of Science and Technology of China, or USTC. The patents relate to antibodies against Nipah virus and work related to nanobodies, including against coronaviruses. -Globe and Mail

Canadian authorities began questioning the pair's loyalty, as well as the potential for coercion or exploitation by a foreign entity, according to more than 600 pages of documents reported by The Counter Signal.

The Canadian Security Intelligence Service assessed that Qiu repeatedly lied about the extent of her work with institutions of the Chinese government and refused to admit involvement in various Chinese programs, even when evidence was presented to her.

A November 2020 Public Health Agency of Canada report on Qiu says investigators "weighed the adverse information and are in agreement with the CSIS assessment."

A Public Health Agency report on Cheng's activities says he allowed restricted visitors to work in laboratories unescorted and on at least two occasions did not prevent the unauthorized removal of laboratory materials.

Cheng was not forthcoming about his activities and collaborations with people from government agencies "of another country, namely members of the People's Republic of China."

Following their firings, Qiu returned to China despite it being under a pandemic travel lockdown until January, 2023.

Kevin Rudd's position as Australia's Ambassador to the United States is no longer tenable and the government may have "very little choice" but to remove him from the position if Republican nominee Donald Trump wins the American election, according to a Senator and a journalist.

Mr Trump this week hit back at Mr Rudd during an exclusive sit-down interview with Sky News Australia contributor Nigel Farage who revealed the “destructive president” and “traitor to the west” comments from the former prime minister.

In the explosive interview with GB News, which continues to make international headlines, Mr Trump responded saying he heard Mr Rudd was “nasty” and “not the brightest bulb”.

Appearing on Sky News on Thursday night, Nationals Senator Matt Canavan said he wanted “all of our Ambassadors to succeed” and said he had defended Mr Rudd over the past 24 hours, but he has since backflipped on his position after this publication uncovered further remarks Mr Rudd made during Mr Trump's time as president.

During an address at the Oxford Union in 2017, the former prime minister, who had transitioned from politician to active political commentator, described Mr Trump as an "objective problem for the world" and "for my country (Australia)".

He also called for the removal of the then president, saying the Republican Party had to "accept responsibility for the consequence of their actions and begin the processes for one form or another of his removal by constitutional means".

Senator Canavan spoke about Mr Rudd's comments, which were aired on Sharri Markson's program on Thursday night, questioning how the Albanese government could appoint someone into an important role who effectively "called for a coup" against a sitting president.

“He called for the removal of a sitting president. It’s almost like a coup, he called for a coup almost, within the United States,” Senator Canavan said.

“How can anyone who has such views be appointed as a diplomat to that nation, calling for that radical change.

“I think he has to explain himself here. I just don’t think it's right for the country, the country has to come first, its bigger than Kevin, bigger than any individual and clearly now he’s damaged goods as he remains as Ambassador to the US for our country.”

Senator Canavan then argued it was difficult for Mr Rudd to continue in the position "let alone until the election".

Speaking to Markson later on in her program, Sky News contributor Nick Cater, who was the editor of The Weekend Australian alongside editor in chief Chris Mitchell, recalled attending Kirribilli House for a dinner when Mr Rudd was prime minister where some of his alleged remarks raised his eyebrows.

“I’m not going to go into what he actually said, but we were there and Kevin Rudd was talking about some other world leaders, some of whom he wasn’t very complimentary about,” Mr Cater claimed.

“And then he said he had the phone call coming up with George Bush, he made a lot of that. This important Kevin Rudd, for other people to think he was important (sic).

“I had to leave late in the evening, but Chris Mitchell stayed on just as he (Mr Rudd) was about to make this call, and I assume that he would be going into his office, closing the door and having a private conversation. But no, he left the door open, spoke on speaker phone. The details of that subsequently came out."

NSW bans gay conversion therapy after marathon parliamentary debate overnight

The Environment Minister and leader of the Legislative Council Penny Sharpe said the bill makes a statement that "harmful practices have no place" in NSW.

"What New South Wales has done today is to say to our LGBTQ community that you are fine just the way you are and that we will look after you and that we will protect you," she said.

"New South Wales is better today with the passing of this legislation."

None of the 15 amendments discussed during the night were passed, with the bill passed as it was introduced.

Attorney-General Michael Daley welcomed the move to make the practice a criminal offence.

"Conversion therapy proceeds on the basis that people in the LGBTQ+ community are broken, they need fixing," he said.

"But we like them just the way they are."

The debate officially ended at 6:30am on Friday.

Anna Brown, head of advocacy group Equality Australia called the move a "historic step".

"It is a landmark moment for our state, where the trailblazing 78ers first bravely stepped out of the bars and into the streets in protest," she said.

Why the Nigerien junta wants to kick US troops out

While Washington’s policy has been rudderless since last year’s coup, an American exit might not be a bad thing

An American government delegation recently traveled to Niger to, according to the State Department, “continue ongoing discussions since August with leaders of the National Council for Safeguarding the Homeland (CNSP) regarding Niger’s return to a democratic path and the future of our security and development partnership.”

The CNSP is the junta that took power in Niger in July 2023, in a coup that extended a trend of military takeovers in the Sahel. For the U.S., the Nigerien coup was the most consequential of these putsches, given longstanding and intensive security cooperation, including the presence of a major U.S. drone base in the northern city of Agadez.

The visit went poorly. Initially scheduled for March 12-13, the delegation extended its stay by one day in hopes of meeting military head of state General Abdourahamane Tiani, but was denied. Then, on March 16, the CNSP announced that it was rejecting the military cooperation agreements between Niger and the U.S. The junta has suggested that in the absence of what it considers a viable and legal status of forces agreement (referring to a 2013 document that the junta now rejects), American civilian and military personnel are no longer welcome in Niger. The Pentagon and the wider U.S. government are working through the implications of that statement while attempting to convince the Nigerien authorities to let U.S. personnel stay.

Diplomatically, the U.S. side appears to have stumbled in several ways. The CNSP’s spokesman criticized the U.S. for its “unilateral” announcement of the delegation’s arrival date and composition and said that the Nigerien authorities received the delegation out of simple courtesy and hospitality. It’s also possible that the Americans inadvertently insulted their hosts by sending what the U.S. regarded as a “high-level” team but what the Nigeriens may have seen as insufficiently senior. The delegation was headed by Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Molly Phee and AFRICOM Commander General Michael Langley and included other senior officials such as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander.

This episode has been a flashback to my yearlong fellowship in the State Department in 2013-2014. During that time, one thing that shocked and dismayed me is that the assistant secretary of state — as a position — was implicitly considered within the State Department as a position equivalent in rank to an African head of state.

Australia’s record immigration intake is largely being fuelled by what has been branded “one of Australia’s biggest economic lies”.

Australia’s record immigration intake is largely being fuelled by an unprecedented influx of international students, which universities claim are Australia’s fourth-biggest “export” bringing in $40 billion a year.

But some experts have long questioned that figure, produced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), arguing it does not take into account income earned by students while working in Australia — around 52 per cent of international students work — or money sent back to their home countries.

“Only a strange statistical assumption has created a ‘$40 billion export industry’ out of one that is probably closer to a $15-20 billion one. Or less. We don’t know,” economist Cameron Murray, author of The Great Housing Hijack, wrote last year in an in-depth blog post digging into the ABS’ methodology.

“Wherever the ABS figures are coming from, it amounts to assuming that the average international student is spending about $78,000 per year, which is a touch more than the average Australian full-time employee can with their after-tax income,” he said.

“And all of this assumed spending is counted as an export, even if the international students work locally and stay for many years.”

Leith van Onselen, co-founder of MacroBusiness and chief economist at MB Fund and MB Super, has previously gone so far as to brand the $40 billion figure “one of Australia’s biggest economic lies”.

“The fact that so many students pay for their fees and living costs via working in Australia necessarily means that this expenditure is by definition not an export,” he wrote. “This is especially the case for Indian and Nepalese students, which are Australia’s second and third largest student source behind China.”

Repeated surveys by education services firm Navitas have found that “quality of education” is far down the list of priorities for most international students.

Students from South Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) all ranked “access to post study work rights” as their top priority in the most recent survey, which polled 943 education agents in 72 countries in May 2023.
