>If Blockchain is so Rock Solid, why isn't it the Gold Standard for Voting?
Blockchain is just a distributed text file or log where no one person has all the data and if anyone node fails that there is enough information on the quorum of participating servers to rebuild that failed node. Blockchain is a distributed log and it could be utilized as a system of records for event sourcing such as what happened at what time sequentially but has nothing to do with what I proposed as a secure recallable ballot that can be replayed or used as a recall system as a dual purpose to voting. My system, we would never have to wait for someone to leave office and the people could fire them and put someone new into office as soon as the counter application runs, which would most likely be within the hour.
Think about that.
