Do not think this is justified either. The right thing to do is to have the squatter pay rent to the absentee landlord a true value for the occupany evaluated by an appraisal. There is no justice in letting people die out in the streets, nor is there any justice in taking others property without fair compensation. IF you truly want justice then everyone who advocated for open borders should open up their homes to them, that would be justice by their own principles.
