Guess I've been out of the loop for awhile since I no longer leave my house to go to work.
I recall seeing something once on TV about how younger people can hear higher frequencies that older people can't hear.
People in an audience were asked to raise their hand when they could hear a tone, and as the tone got higher, only the younger people were raising their hands.
So youngsters might be getting subliminal messaging that older people aren't getting?
I recall lining up in the school gym in the early 1970s and all of us got vaccinated for something.

I was an MP in the army and one of my duty stations was in a guard tower. We were given 90 rounds of ammo. and told to shoot anyone who tried to come over the fencing.
All of us MPs were fully prepared to use all of our 90 rounds.
