OpenAI's Sora Made Me Crazy AI Videos—Then the CTO Answered (Most of) My Questions | WSJ

10 minute vid

OpenAI’s new text-to-video AI model Sora can create some very realistic scenes. How does this generative AI tech work? Why does it mess up sometimes? When will it be released to the public? What data was it trained on?

I'm not pushing that the Kate video is AI. I do think there are things that are 'off' in it - plus the extremely poor way their PR team have handled the whole situation has destroyed what little trust may have been left.Kate's hand movements whilst sitting - they're the sort of hand movements people do when standing up. But they could just be what she does.

I was surprised how good the AI video of the two women in the vid I posted, hands aside. Of course publicly available AI could have 'dodgy hands and fingers' baked in to muddy the waters, whilst the AI available to DS would be very much better, one would have thought.

The real upshot of all of this, is that normies are now questioning what they see and consume from MSM, which isn't a bad thing, although they still have to learn to leave emotion aside whilst critically revieiwing what they are being presented with.

Of course anon, I'm not saying be emotionless to the whole situation. Just that when dealing with MSM and other manipulations, it makes it easier to see through BS.

And anon rarely offers advice as that would be presumptious - more a viewpoint or just an observation (right or wrong) to reflect on, as anon often does when reading the board.
