>what software are you using to construct this image and the box and red arrow
Anon, I'm doing these using the free PAINT app. I just go to QAlerts, do a search (in the Edge browser) for the date (or phrase) for which I want to capture all posts, and then when the results come up, in the app, I do the following:
-
right click on the result (in Edge browser);
-
hit "Screenshot"
-
save the screenshot as a .PNG image;
-
open the .PNG image in PAINT;
-
put a yellow box around the search result using the PAINT editing tool;
-
put a red box around the number of results using the PAINT editing tool;
-
draw a red line from the red box to the black portion (heading toward the yellow box); and
-
finish the line (in yellow), using the PAINT editing tool, to bring the yellow line up to the yellow box.
The reason I started doing the yellow and red boxes and lines is because last week I accidentally uploaded the wrong image (for December 9th) when I meant to upload the image I created on a date in March.
So the boxes and lines are more to keep my own dumb brain focused, to help insure that I upload the correct images.
Short answer: I just save things as PNGs and edit them in PAINT.

==Whoops, there's an errant yellow line across the first screenshot that I posted to depict the Q posts referencing BRIDGE, but that was just my mistake, as I was making the screenshot. So there is no significance to that diagonal yellow line, other than that I goofed while editing.

>the good old days
Personally, I think that these are the good old days, because when the going gets tough, we get going, and we've already gone through some really crappy times, but things look better now!
Q never left us.
I just like to re-live what Q posted, every day, to help me keep calm and knowledgeable about the things that are happening, today, in real time.
