US trying to cover up ‘something’ related to Moscow terror attack – Kremlin
American certainty about Ukraine’s innocence is strange, Dmitry Peskov has said
Washington’s insistence on a narrative about the Crocus City Hall massacre is odd, since the Russian investigation is still ongoing, President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.
Within hours of Friday’s terrorist attack, which claimed 143 lives at a Moscow concert venue, the US and EU began insisting that Ukraine had absolutely nothing to do with it and that the terrorist group Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) was the sole culprit.
“It’s strange, to say the least, that the Americans have dared to announce a single narrative,” Peskov told the Russian outlet Izvestiya on Wednesday. “This suggests at the very least that they are trying to shift attention away from something,” he added.
Peskov also noted that these claims came in before Moscow had formulated an official version of events, since Russian law enforcement is still working on the case.
Four men suspected of being the perpetrators were arrested early on Saturday as they attempted to flee into Ukraine, according to Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB). They were identified as nationals of Tajikistan.
While acknowledging the assessment by security services that the men were “radical Islamists,” Putin noted on Monday that many questions remained unanswered. He also noted that such terrorist attacks fit the pattern of hostile actions against Russia by Ukraine’s foreign sponsors.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has also commented on Washington’s strange insistence on the ISIS-K narrative. The US is obviously biased and trying to “get Ukraine out of harm’s way,” she said during the daily briefing on Wednesday.
Had Kiev truly been blameless, the US would have called for a full investigation, Zakharova argued. Instead, both the White House and the State Department simply announced that “Ukraine has nothing to do with this.”
“Based on what data and what information?” Zakharova wondered. “Only one thing is clear – they began to excuse the Kiev regime in order to excuse themselves. Because everyone understands perfectly well that there is simply no independent [Ukraine] without Western financial and military assistance.”
The US and its allies have sent over $200 billion in weapons, ammunition and equipment – not counting financial aid – since the conflict with Russia escalated in 2022. They have ignored Moscow’s warnings that this could lead to a direct confrontation, insisting that this does not make them a party to the hostilities.
According to US media reports citing American spies, CIA-trained Ukrainian operatives have been responsible for several assassinations of Russian civilians, though Kiev has officially denied this.

Leaked memo shows Coles preparing staff for cashless operations and warns of possible card only transactions
A major supermarket has sent a memo to staff warning of a cash shortage ahead of the Easter long weekend, instructing staff to tell customers it was a “Card Only” store.
Coles has warned staff to transition stores to "Card Only" and to "politely refuse" cash handling company Armaguard should they attend stores to provide change.
The memo, which was leaked online, explained to staff of the potential need to go cashless over the Easter long weekend and beyond.
The "Cash Process Update" memo was also issued to Coles liquor stores nationally which include Liquorland, Vintage Cellars and First Choice.
It comes as Coles halted change deliveries from Armaguard amid fears the cash handling company was on the brink of collapse due to a massive decline in cash usage across the country.
"From Wednesday 27 March to Friday 5 April, all cash collections from Armaguard will be paused," the notice read.
"1. Check reserve and main register cash supplies throughout the day. 2. Continue to manage cash line with policy and individual store procedures as normal.
"3. If your cash reserves become low, convert the store to 'Card Only' by printing and displaying the below customer notices at open register."
In a FAQ in the memo, Coles explained the change reserves had been impacted by a "decline in cash transactions" along with "industry wide challenges" with cash movement services, including Armaguard.
"All card purchases are still accepted," the explanation concluded.
A subsidiary of Linfox, Armaguard sought a multi-million cash injection in October after projecting losses of up to $192 million in the next three years.
Armaguard Chief Executive Mick Cronin said in December the crisis was effectively due to people not "using cash enough".
Mr Cronin said only 12 per cent of transactions involve cash, a significant drop from 10 to 15 years ago when it constituted 50 per cent of them.
The use of cash dropped most significantly the COVID-19 pandemic and never recovered. The Reserve Bank of Australia found cash use fell from 32 per cent in 2019 to just 16 per cent in 2022.

NTSB Releases Data on DALI’s Black Box, Reveals No CCTV Footage Found, Sensors Cut Off and Turned Backed On, Voice Recorder Disrupted By Background Noise
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chair Jennifer Homendy announced the voyage data recorder known as the “black box’ was recovered from the DALI cargo ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key bridge early Tuesday morning.
On Tuesday evening, Homendy and NTSB investigator Marcel Muise held a press conference to reveal the data on the DALI’s black box, also known as the Voyage Data Recorder (VDR).
NTSB investigator Marcel Muise revealed there were about six hours of VDR on data and included a timeline of midnight to 6 am.
Before revealing the data on the VDR, Muise warned that the quality of the voice recording and radio data was hard to comprehend due to background noise.
Muise then shared that the “VDR sensor data ceased recording. The VDR audio continued to record using the redundant power source.”
“VDR resumed recording sensor data, and during this time, steering commands and rutter orders were recorded on the audio,” added Muise.
Muise continued, “The ship’s pilot made a very high-frequency radio call for tugs in the vicinity to assist. About this time, the pilot dispatcher phoned the Maryland Transportation Authority duty officer regarding the blackout.”
He concluded his statement by adding that “The ship’s speed over ground was recorded at just under 7 knots. From this moment to approximately 1:29:33, the VDR audio recorded sounds consistent with the collision of the bridge.”

Cattle-Tracking Provision That May Limit Beef Supply Passed In Omnibus Bill
A controversial measure to include $15 million for the electronic tracking of livestock has made it through Congress via the recently passed omnibus bill, raising fears among critics that the new system could be weaponized by the government to limit beef consumption.
American cattle rancher Shad Sullivan told The Epoch Times that he fears that the electronic tags will be the end of the small rancher.
“They are going to use it as a taxing mechanism to eventually control the livestock,” Mr. Sullivan said. “In the European Union, they used these measures under the guise of climate change lies to limit the cattle supply, and if they do that here, it will destroy our industry.
“If the tag mandate is implemented it will be the key to open the door to the gas chamber for independent ranching.”
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), who owns livestock, also sounded the alarm that the move could lead to the erosion of the industry.
“The left wants to ban cattle and before you can ban anything you need a registry, you need to know where it’s at and who owns it and that’s why they want to tag cattle,” he said in a March 23 post on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. “We’ve seen it happen in Europe.”

Statement Of U.S. Attorney Damian Williams On The Convictions Of Three Lev Tahor Leaders Of Child Exploitation And Kidnapping Offenses
“Yoil Weingarten, Yakov Weingarten, and Shmiel Weingarten, leaders of Lev Tahor, an extremist Jewish sect based in Guatemala, have been found guilty of kidnapping a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl and transporting the 14-year-old girl outside the United States to continue a sexual relationship with her adult male ‘husband.’ With this verdict, all nine Lev Tahor leaders and operatives charged for these heinous crimes have been held accountable. The defendants’ conduct — which included forced child marriages, physical beatings, and family separations — is unthinkable and has caused irreparable harm to children in their formative years. Whether in the name of religion or any other belief system, subjecting children to physical, sexual, or emotional abuse will never be tolerated by this Office.”

Havaara Agreement, 1933:
Controversial agreement to facilitate emigration of German Jews to Palestine
Haavara (Transfer) was a company established in 1935 as the the result of an agreement between the Jewish Agency (the official Jewish executive in Palestine) and the Nazi regime. The agreement was designed to facilitate Jewish emigration to Palestine. Though the Nazis had ordered Jewish emigrants to surrender most of their property before leaving Germany, the Ha’avara agreement let them retain some of their assets by transferring them to Palestine as German export goods. Approximately 50,000 Jews emigrated to Palestine under this arrangement.

Ex-Mossad head launches new firm to win the influence war
Ex-Mossad chief Danny Yatom has a new company to shape voters’ hearts and minds.
It’s been less than a year, but CIY Global, the latest company founded by former head of the Mossad Maj.-Gen. (ret.) Danny Yatom, has already scored several wins.
The company, based in central Israel, provides a unified solution to clients by using a wide variety of tools in order to influence campaigns and business development.
“We act as a one-stop shop. We provide all services, including graphics, video content. We have holistic capabilities,” Yatom, president of CIY, told The Jerusalem Post at the company’s office.
“We act as a one-stop shop. We provide all services, including graphics, video content. We have holistic capabilities.”
Danny Yatom
Yatom served close to 30 years in the IDF and ended his time in the military as OC Central Command. He also served as military secretary to Yitzhak Rabin, first when he was defense minister in 1983, and then prime minister in 1992. He then served under Shimon Peres and as chief of staff for prime minister Ehud Barak from 1999 to 2001.
He headed the Mossad from 1996 to 1998 and also served as a Knesset member for the Labor Party between 2003 and 2008.
Yatom explained that he founded the company after he ended his campaign run in 2021 as the head of the Veteran’s Party, where he met Nevo Cohen and Ofer Inbar, who later joined him and his son Omer to found CIY Global.
CIY Global
A political campaign agency, CIY Global has run dozens of campaigns, both in the political and business worlds, in Europe, North, Central and South America. Though many of the campaigns have been under the radar, some clients have understood the power that using an Israeli company might provide.
