Also, difficult to isolate in its pure form in a cost-effective, energy efficient manner.

 

That's why you don't see hydrogen filling stations across the country.

 

Hydrogen is a great alternative fuel. NASA uses it for its most powerful rockets. But the sticky issues outlined, above, have made it too dangerous and too expensive for wide-spread use.

Have seen preliminary designs such as this for several decades. Good to see they are finally making progress.

 

This is what government grants and Nobel Prizes should be reserved for - - actual progress to an inexpensive, energy abundant future.

 

Solve energy and the Middle East can go back to the sand fleas. Only few will care if they can't get along and affect the world energy supply.
