most phones have a gps that is activated by the OS and sends data back to the home network. All a phone needs is a tower somewhere within about 22miles (35Km) and it can get data back to it's home network. Everything every phone on the planet does is recorded by the NSA. I worked with someone who's job it was to install the link to the NSA into every switching center in the USA. There are also people that did that world wide. Sounds incredible but it was a program from about 1998. My friend died in 2017.

He had parkinsons and eventually degenerated. Really sad to see. He never said that he had been recruited and his perspective never altered in the 30+ years I knew him he was the only MAGA in his family too so if they did get to him, it didn't work too well. He was totally anti taxation and always said that he did the work simply because they paid him. Who knows? He was already doing this before the pocket cellular stuff happened. The initial stuff he was putting in was to intercept the voice circuits in the switch & forward all speech calls to the NSA data center in Utah. I said, back in 2000, that I didn't think there's going to be enough hard drive space to store all of that. That was before the storage capacities started to balloon and become insanely big. It tirned out to be no problem. He told me that the intention was to have recorded speech calls for every single number, world wide. With the totally digital switches that everything has become, that is a simple task, incorporated into the switch's APS (the software that they run). I wonder when the SCOTUS made the ruling? He was still doing that in 2009. He was medically boarded in 2014 when his parkinsons became too much for the electrodes he had installed in his head. He actually told me to not tell anyone until after he had died so I've waited 7 years now.
