Western mercenaries participating in attacks against Russian borders

Special field report shows that foreign mercenaries are attacking Russian border regions.

Currently, the possibility of “direct intervention” by the West in Ukraine is being discussed in newspapers around the world. What few know, however, is that, in practice, this is already a war between Western and Russian troops. Large numbers of mercenaries from NATO countries are fighting in Ukraine, mainly participating in terrorist raids against demilitarized regions on the Russian border.

With the Ukrainian failure in the special military operation zone, the neo-Nazi regime is focusing its attention against Russian border cities. Since late 2023, Belgorod and Kursk have been bombed frequently. Western missiles and drones kill Russian civilians in these regions where there is no military mobilization, which makes the attacks truly terrorist.

As experts have already said, these border attacks have no military relevance. Kiev’s aim is to divert attention from its defeat on the battlefield and show its Western sponsors that the military aid provided is being used “appropriately” – reaching deep into Russia. The problem is that this “PR stunt” is absolutely illusory. In practice, most of the Ukrainian missiles supplied by the West are shot down by the Russian defense, just as land incursions are quickly neutralized by Russian troops.

Publicly, the West quickly replaces Ukrainian material losses. What is little talked about, however, is that NATO is also already supplying Kiev with human resources. Thousands of foreign mercenaries are fighting against Russia. Border raids are largely being operated by these foreigners. I witnessed this personally in March when I was in Belgorod during a BRICS Journalists Association’s press expedition.

Our main objective was to cover the bombings carried out by the Kiev regime to harm the Russian electoral process. In Belgorod, I spoke to civilians in the affected regions and received some important information about those responsible for the attacks. For example, on March 12, there was a land invasion in the village of Kozinka (Belgorod oblast). At the time, the enemies were quickly neutralized by the Russians. Fleeing from the fire, the invaders abandoned their dead and wounded soldiers as well as various equipment along the way.

After the umpteenth refusal of a peace negotiation by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and the bloody massacre of the attack in Moscow carried out by terrorists financed by Kiev and probably trained by Western intelligence, the patience of Russian President Vladimir Putin really seems to be over.

Strengthened by the grandiose reconfirmation in the recent elections, the Tsar of Moscow has raised the level of attacks by launching a storm of hypersonic Zircon and Kinzhal missiles, impossible to intercept, both on the most dangerous military positions of the Kiev army and on the country’s energy infrastructures (report by Russia Ministry of Defense below).

On the other hand, Zelensky, like a spoiled child whose toys of death have been taken away, continues to ask NATO countries for weapons for a war he cannot win, as tycoons David Sach and Elon Musk have explicitly declared in recent days.

Zelenky continues to obstinately carry out his role as a Western assassin for the extermination of his own people and as a diabolical servant of the Atlantic Alliance, whose leaders know very well that he does not have the slightest chance of victory but Ukraine’s suicidal action serves to fuel the enormous speculations of the Weapons Lobby and prepare the reconstruction plan according to the same philosophy of the genocide that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, a Zionist just like Zelensky, is carrying out in Gaza.

The failure of Ukraine’s 2023 summer counteroffensive against Russia was “easily predictable,” according to US tech entrepreneur and venture capitalist David Sacks, who has suggested that the Washington elite should be held accountable for talking up the doomed operation.

Sacks’ comments came in response to a post on Saturday by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who condemned the unnecessary loss of life suffered by Kiev’s forces as they attempted to “attack a larger army” that had superior defenses.

Australian aid worker killed in airstrike in central Gaza identified

An Australian humanitarian worker has been killed in an airstrike in Gaza.

Melbourne-born Lalzawmi "Zomi" Frankcom, along with three other international aid workers and a Palestinian driver, was killed in Central Gaza while working with the World Central Kitchen charity.

Video footage posted to social media showed the bodies of the five dead at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the central Gaza town of Deir al-Balah.

Staff showed the passports of three of the dead – British, Australian and Polish. The nationality of the fourth aid worker was not immediately known. All of the workers killed were wearing protective gear with the charity's logo on it.

The group were travelling through Nothern Gaza, into Central Gaza when their vehicle was targeted in an airstrike, reports have said.

Ashton Kutcher Steps Down as Board Chair of Anti-Child-Sex-Abuse Organization

Ashton Kutcher has resigned as chairman of the board of Thorn, the anti-child-sex-abuse organization he co-founded in 2009 with his then-wife Demi Moore. His wife Mila Kunis, who served as an observer on the organization's board, is also stepping down. The move comes in the wake of outrage over their letters of support for Danny Masterson, who has been convicted of raping two women.

"Victims of sexual abuse have been historically silenced and the character statement I submitted is yet another painful instance of questioning victims who are brave enough to share their experiences," Kutcher wrote in a Sept. 14 letter to Thorn's board, which was shared exclusively with TIME.

"After my wife and I spent several days of listening, personal reflection, learning, and conversations with survivors and the employees and leadership at Thorn, I have determined the responsible thing for me to do is resign as Chairman of the Board, effectively immediately," Kutcher wrote. "I cannot allow my error in judgment to distract from our efforts and the children we serve."

The actor also apologized to victims of sexual assault and other advocates for letting them down. "The mission must always be the priority and I want to offer my heartfelt apology to all victims of sexual violence and everyone at Thorn who I hurt by what I did," he wrote to the board. "And to the broader advocacy community, I am deeply sorry. I remain proud of what we have accomplished in the past decade and will continue to support Thorn’s work. Thank you for your tireless advocacy and dedication to this cause."

More than just a pretty face, actor Ashton Kutcher has been working for years to battle child sex trafficking with the help of cutting-edge technology.

How Ashton Kutcher is building tech to fight child sex traffickers

Although Ashton Kutcher is best known for his roles in massively popular sitcoms like That 70s Show and Two and a Half Men, he’s only just begun some of the most important work of his life.

In 2009, the Iowan actor founded a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting human trafficking and child sexual exploitation. The NGO changed its name to Thorn in 2012 and focused on building mobile and Web-based tools to help further its efforts, while partnering with major tech firms and government agencies to expand the impact of its work.

The non-profit clearly has its work cut out for it: In 2012, the International Labor Organization estimated that there were roughly 21 million human trafficking victims worldwide, of which about 5 million were being sexually exploited. According to Thorn, the internet is largely to blame: It found that 63 percent of child sex trafficking victims that it surveyed were advertised online.

In addition to researching the circumstances that facilitate child sex trafficking, Thorn is also building tech to help fight it. In 2013, it worked with Twilio to create a shortcode that victims of sexual exploitation, as well as witness could text to seek help discreetly. From its launch through last June, the system enabled 3,808 conversations via text message that led to 3,631 substantive cases and 18 potential victims extracted.

More recently, it launched Spotlight, a Web app that assists in trafficking investigations by helping them sift through thousands of classifieds and forum posts advertising escort services from several sites. It uses machine learning to analyze data and identify suspicious ads that may involve minors, matching images and generating profiles so individual cases are easier to track.

Thorn announced in October 2016 that Spotlight had helped identify more than 6,300 victims of sex trafficking in the US, of which nearly 2,000 were children. The tool is now used in all 50 US states by 780 agencies.

Now, the organization is gearing up to take on traffickers who operate on the Dark Web. It’s building a tool called Solis, a tool to analyze activity on the underground network and help investigators uncover information about minors being exploited across the globe. It’s currently being tested by Thorn’s international partners, and it’s already helped rescue 40 children.

Hopefully, Thorn will be able to reach more people with its high-tech tools. Today, Kutcher testified before Congress on ways to combat human trafficking and slavery. Skip ahead to 15:38 in the footage below to watch it.

Speaking before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he called for funding for tech tools to combat child sex trafficking, fostering public-private partnerships to come up with such solutions and fixing the pipelines that lead minors in and out of trafficking networks.

It’s great to see celebrities standing up for causes they believe in; what’s particularly notable about Kutcher’s approach is how Thorn is following tech trends and adapting their processes to target traffickers as quickly as they change their modus operandi. Hopefully, initiatives like these will help curb devastating crimes like sex trafficking not just across the US, but around the world.

Ashton Kutcher urges EU to allow tech giants to keep tracking online child abuse

American actor and activist Ashton Kutcher is urging EU policymakers to grant tech giants like Facebook and Google a reprieve from new privacy rules that would prohibit them from using automatic detection tools to combat child pornography.

The European Electronic Communications Code, which comes into effect on December 21, aims to rein in the broad powers that tech firms have to scan private digital communication. Privacy advocates say the mass screening of emails and messaging apps in search of child pornography violates the rights of Europeans.

But critics argue the privacy protections will put children at risk.

“We [need to] protect the privacy of these kids,” said Kutcher, who is the co-founder of Thorn, a non-profit organization that combats human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children with a focus on internet technology. “They didn’t consent to their abuse being shared online … Their privacy matters, too.”
