Russia will track down masterminds of Moscow terrorist attack – Putin

It’s crucial to establish the perpetrators and ultimate beneficiaries behind the Crocus City Hall tragedy, the president has said

Russian security agencies will find the masterminds behind the terrorist attack on Moscow’s Crocus City concert hall, President Vladimir Putin has insisted.

It’s crucial to establish not only the direct perpetrators of the “bloody terrorist attack”which took place on March 22, but also all thelinks in the chain leading to its final beneficiaries, Putin said during a meeting with the leadership of Russia’s Interior Ministry on Tuesday.

“We will definitely get them,” the president said of the masterminds of the Crocus City Hall massacre, in which 144 people were killed and more than 550 injured.

Mercenary terrorist attacks are “a weapon that is being used against Russia,” butthose who resort to itmust understandthat it is a “double-edged weapon,” he stressed.

There are “no reliable agents”in the circle of people who are ready to execute such crimes, Putin said. “They’re doing anything for money, not guided by any religious or political considerations, only financial ones,” he explained, adding that “any information can be easily bought and sold” in such a market.

The actions of all law enforcement agencies, supervisory bodies and commercial organizations who were in charge of security at the Crocus City Hall are now being evaluated, the president said.

“We have paid a very high price, and theanalysis of the situation has to be extremely objective and professional,” he insisted.

Putin said thata “new level” of securitymust be implemented at places where large numbers of people gather, such as at sporting venues, shopping and entertainment centers, schools, hospitals, theaters and others.

Russia’s security agencies and police have been on high alert since the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack. All four suspected perpetrators, who are Tajik nationals, were captured the next day as they were driving towards Ukraine. Several more people who allegedly aided them in preparing and staging the massacre have been arrested since then.

Islamic State Khorasan (ISIS-K) has claimed responsibility for the attack on the concert venue. FSB chief Aleksandr Bortnikov has suggested that the US, UK, and Ukraine might also be linked to the crime, possibly using radical Islamists as proxies. All three have denied their involvement; Washington andBrussels have insistedthat Kiev had nothing to do with the massacre.

Explosives in Ukrainian ‘icons’ enough to destroy five-story building – FSB

Smugglers put hexogen inside Church items in an attempt to get them into Russia, the agency said

Theexplosives hidden inside Orthodox holy images and other Church items, which were seized on the border with Latvia, would have been enough to bring down a five-story apartment block, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has said.The deadly cargo originated from Ukraine and was being transferred to Moscow, according to the agency.

Earlier on Tuesday, the FSB announced that four homemade bombs, 10kg of high-industrial plastic explosives, 91 electronic detonators, and parts of an RPG-7 warhead were discovered inside a shipment of Church goods during a vehicle check at the Ubylinka crossing between Russia and Latvia.The cargo had traveled from Ukraine through several EU nations– Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania and Latvia – before arriving at the border, according to the agency.

Later in the day, the FSB released a video showing an explosives expert opening up the casings of the ‘icons’ and revealing a white substance inside them. Judging by the footage, theseized shipment contained several hundred holy images and multiple other items.

“Hexogen, a plastic explosive of increased power, was found inside the icons,” Dmitry Belotserkovsky, head of the Interior Ministry’s forensic center in Pskov Region, said. Hexogen, also known asRDX, is 1.5 times more powerful than TNT, he added.

The amount of the seized explosives was “enough to blow up a five-story residential block,” the official stressed.

The shipment also containedindustrially produced fuses with delay mechanismsthat are usually used by special forces units to carry out sabotage activities, Belotserkovsky said.

Amanwho was detained for attempting tosmuggle the explosives acrossthe border told the FSB thathis final destination was the Russian capital. “I was traveling towards Russian territory to the city of Moscow, where the unloading of the cargo was supposed to take place,” the suspect said in the video.

The FSB and other Russian security agencies have been on high alert since March 22, when terrorists opened fire on concertgoers at Crocus City Hall outside Moscow and set fire to the popular venue. At least 144 people were killed and more than 550 injured, according to official figures.

Olympic officials asked Ukraine to spy on Russian athletes – IOC chief

Thomas Bach has been interviewed by notorious pranksters Vovan and Lexus

International Olympic Committee (IOC) President ThomasBach has admitted to a pair of pranksters that Ukrainians have been asked to spy on Russian athletes onlineso that they could be banned from the upcoming Paris Games.

In a video-call posted on Tuesday, in which one of the Russian duo known as Vovan and Lexus impersonated an African official, Bach claimed thatby sanctioning Russian athletes, the IOC is “punishing those who are responsible for the annexation.”

The IOC chief was apparently referring to the former Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye, which overwhelmingly voted to join Russia in a public referendum in 2022. They followed the Crimean Peninsula, which did the same in 2014 after a Western-backed coup in Kiev.

“No Russian anthem can be played and no Russian flag can be raised [at the Paris 2024 Olympics],”the IOC president stated.

Answering a question on whether Russian athletes who support the Ukraine conflict deserved the right to take part in the Olympics, Bach revealed that theIOC has a special commission which monitors public statements by athletesin support of the government in Moscow.

“We have a special supervisory commissiontogether with an independent company which is monitoring the internet, the media, and public declarations,” he stated.

“We also offered the Ukrainian side – and not only offered, but also asked to provide uswith their knowledge about the behavior of such athletes or officials,” Bach further revealed.

He stressed that any athletes found to have expressed support for the Russian government will be banned from the Olympics.

Russian athletes are allowed to participate in the Games as neutrals in individual sports, but are barred from team events.

After the start of the Ukraine conflict in February 2022, the IOC recommended that athletes from Russia and its close ally Belarus should not be allowed to compete in international events. In December last year, the body ruled that a limited number of people from the two countries could participate in the Olympics as AINs (individual neutral athletes).

First of all anyone meeting with the Putin would have to cleared with the State Dept, CiA, NSA, etc. Its a laborious process and involves a lot of people with the Bidan Admin.Why would Bidan Admin say yes now, unless Tucker was supposed to collect info from Putin.

Putin knew he was either CIA or working for them, he chided him on it, probably the only reason he agreed is that Tucker has a wide reach in America and the World, and Putin’s message would bypass western press. He actually said that after the interview.

Why would Putin tell the history of Russia for 30 minutes since Tucker has a degree in World history. He was trolling him.
