I've been trying to figure out the Jewish people situation from thie Bible to current times and I can never fully understand where I stand. In the Old Testament they are described as God's chosen people. Moses receiving the 10 commandments and I believe saying there is a Covenant between God and the Jewish people. Correct me where I am wrong but I was thinking that the reason that the Jewish people rejected Jesus as the Messiah is that they didn't like that Jesus formed a new Covenant that included the gentiles which in turm made the non Jewish equal to the Jewish. I figure that taking away their exculsivity really angered them. Jesus also saying they are of the synagog of Satan always has perplexed me. Any religious anons out that is willing to let me know if I am of course I'd like to know.
