Good morning from Camp Justice at Guantanamo Bay. There's a new judge in the USS Cole case, and he closed the court on his first day for his very first witness. Awaiting the redacted transcript to see how much testimony of Col. Steven Cane, new prison commander, was classified.

Revealed years later, Reagan had secretly prepared to give Thatcher the USS Iwo Jima if the Royal Navy needed it. The crew would have included U.S. "contract advisors" to operate the systems.
