While I haven't researched it in a long long time. Boron supplementation alone was enough to cure some cases suggesting it might be linked to fluoride exposure. Others cite parasites as the cause for some cases. I'd have to spend a LOT of time digging to find more concrete information though.

He pushes a lot of speculation the ends up being wrong, a lot of information that's backed up by documents and tweets that he shows, and the occasional psyop. Which I'm not sure if he just falls for or intentionally pushes. I haven't watched him in a while and I've been hesitant to recommend more normies to watch than I already have because of the mentioned issues.
