Why is there an uptick of videos online detailing weapons required to defend an assault on your home, as well as food prep or prepping as a whole? Is something horrible coming soon? What are we supposed to do if we are simple researchers who deal in open-source information, reasoned argument, and dank memes? We do battle in the sphere of ideas and ideas only. We neither need nor condone the use of force in our work here, so how do we defend our homes? Do I throw printed crumbled up memes at my attackers while shouting “I’m comfy”? Any advice is helpful.
