Last month another, different, donor call was leaked from the ADL, which a Jewish outlet described as part of the internal struggle within the organization, noting that it was a “special meeting to pacify internal critics signifies that the organization’s vocal opposition to the anti-Zionist left is controversial even within an organization that has long been committed to Israel advocacy.”

The ADL has embraced far-left politicians for many years and unfairly harassed the political right, and that decision has been hurting the organization due to the left’s splintering of support for Israel and Jewish policy since the October terror attacks by Hamas in Israel. The New York Times recently referred to this split in an op-ed headline as “The Great Rupture.”

The ADL has long taken a hard-left political stance, even though polls consistently show most of Israel’s political support in America comes from the political right. Polls show Jewish antipathy towards Christian denominations, even though Christian groups reliably rate Jews positively.

In the leaked presentation, Greenblatt equates Anti-Zionism to Anti-Semitism, meaning that any criticism of Israel’s policies towards the Palestinians are enabling terror attacks. Most surprisingly, Greenblatt mentions the plan to bring in even more government censorship online. In his speech, Greenblatt mentions the CDA 230 immunity from liability that tech companies enjoy, limiting online companies from liability for content posted on their sites posted by others. Meaning that, currently Facebook can’t be sued for libel if someone posts libelous content on their platform.

The audio of Greenblatt says he is going to work to change online platform’s civil immunity, so that social media companies are liable for statements made online by their members, virtually ensuring a further social media clampdown on free speech.

Greenblatt said: “I know many of you probably feel the New York Times is the problem. Your kids and grandkids aren’t reading the New York Times, they’re reading their Instagram feed, they’re looking at TikTok videos, and so we have to fight the New York Times battle, but we also go to where the frontline really is. So we got a lot of computer scientists, software engineers at ADL working on these problems. It’s not going to happen easily. I ultimately came to the conclusion that we need government to come in and regulate. Basically if you publish something in the Miami Herald that’s libelous, you could be sued. If you post on Facebook? Nothing. There’s a loophole in the law which exempt the companies from liability. Change that rule, and we can change outcomes. So we’re really working on it.”

Greenblatt brags about close ADL working relationships with major big tech companies, including: Amazon, Apple, Meta, X, TikTok, Zoom, Snap, Google. Big Tech has been notoriously censor-happy for many years. Only in recent years has the connection between Big Tech censorship and the government’s mandates and directives to push that censorship, become known. That Military-Industrial Censorship Complex is on review with the Supreme Court as part of the Missouri v. Biden litigation where the Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft is the lead Plaintiff.

Greenblatt denounced “Extremist groups” on the political right and left without defining the terms further.

Greenblatt also explained a program developed with law firms, Gibson Dunn, Morgan Lewis, and Latham Watkins and 300 associated attorneys, to bring Title VI lawsuits against universities if the Jewish students attending those colleges felt threatened.The argument being that creating a hostile environment for Jewish college students is a form of discrimination, and therefore a violation of their federal civil rights. Greenblatt made clear that the goal is to use financial pressure through this lawfare to force the universities to police anti-Zionist criticism and speech.

"The Allegation Is False": CIA Denies Meddling In Hunter Biden IRS, DOJ Investigations

The CIA has denied a whistleblower allegation that the agency "intervened in the investigation of Hunter biden to prevent the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) from interviewing a witness," according to a response issued to House Republicans on Friday.

According to the whistleblower, in August 2021, the IRS wanted to interview Hunter Biden associate (who loaned Hunter $6.5 million), Patrick Kevin Morris - and that "the CIA intervened to stop the interview."

"Two DOJ officials were allegedly summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia for a briefing regarding Mr. Morris," at which "it was communicated that Mr. Morris could not be a witness during the investigation."

CIA Denies

Two weeks later, the CIA has responded in a letter to House Oversight Chair James Comer and House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan ('obtained first' by CNN).

"Without confirming or denying the existence of any associations or communications, CIA did not prevent or seek to prevent IRS or DOJ from conducting any such interview. The allegation is false," CIA Director of Congressional Affairs, James A. Catella, wrote to the Chairs.

House Republicans push back

In response to the response, House Judiciary Committee spokesman Russell Dye told CNN "The allegation is not false."

In a Friday post to X following the CNN report, the House Judiciary GOP said "The CIA is wrong. But what's new?"

Boris Johnson: Shameful to call for UK to end arms sales to Israel

NYPD should press gun makers to use safety tech like fingerprints for safety, Brooklyn lawmaker says

A Brooklyn state senator is urging the NYPD to use its buying power to pressure gun makers to take better advantage of the technologies that can help drive down shootings.

State Sen. Zellnor Myrie said the nation’s largest police department is second only to the U.S. military in the number of guns it buys — and that weapons manufacturers would listen if the NYPD said it would do business only with those that made gun safety a priority.

In a letter sent Monday to Police Commissioner Edward Caban, Myrie urged him to join the Gun Safety Consortium, an amalgam of elected officials and law enforcement agencies who have “joined together to encourage the development of technologies and products that will help gun owners secure their firearms, as well as products that can help law enforcement investigate and prevent gun-related crimes.”

Guns using fingerprint and facial recognition technology have emerged in recent years as ways to limit the use of a gun to its rightful owner — meaning if the weapon is stolen or sold on the black market, another person would be unable to fire it.

Vanderbilt Expels Students Who Participated In Anti-Israel Protest

Vanderbilt University has expelled, suspended, or disciplined at least 27 students after an anti-Israel sit-in protest went off the wall last week.

Provost Cybele Raver said in a statement that the university’s Student Accountability, Community Standards, and Academic Integrity Staff reviewed the protest and conducted interviews with students before issuing “a range of findings and sanctions that took the individual circumstances of each student’s conduct into account.” The provost added that the review led to disciplinary probation, suspension, and even expulsion for some students.

It was unclear how many students were expelled, but student-run newspaper The Vanderbilt Hustler reported earlier this week that 27 students had been suspended for their participation in the protest, which took place in Kirkland Hall, an administrative building on the Vanderbilt campus that was closed for construction. Three students were also arrested and charged with misdemeanor assault after they pushed past a Community Service Officer to enter the building, and a fourth student was charged with vandalism for allegedly breaking a window, WSMV reported.

Vanderbilt University posted footage from Kirkland Hall showing the large group of students overwhelming the officer as they charged into the building.

“Students have 10 days to appeal their case to the university’s Appellate Review Board, a body consisting of faculty and students,” the provost’s statement added.

After making their way into the administrative building on March 26, students remained for around 21 hours to protest the administration’s decision to stop the student government from voting on an anti-Israel referendum. Videos posted to social media show some of the student protesters panicking as they worried they would be arrested if they left the building to use the bathroom.

Others complained that “Vanderbilt administration is starving protesters” after the officers monitoring the sit-in were brought food from Panera Bread for themselves.

“Vanderbilt administration prohibited students from receiving food from outside Kirkland and students are currently peeing in bottles,” one graphic posted by students about the sit-in claims.

Protesters also called emergency medical services for a woman who said that she was at risk of toxic shock because she was not able to change her tampon and cited concerns that she would be arrested if she left the building.

In her statement, Provost Raver said the university understands that students’ choices come with “costly consequences.”

“The gravity of this situation and these outcomes weighs heavily on those of us charged with carrying out our responsibility as leaders; we fully understand that student choices and decisions can lead to serious and costly consequences,” said Raver.

California governor Newsom releases plan to combat record levels of antisemitism

In the five months following October 7, antisemitic incidents on California college campuses increased 2,000 percent compared to the same period a year earlier, according to JPAC.

The governor of California, Gavin Newsom, released The Golden State Plan To Counter Antisemitism on Friday, a report which illustrates action items the governor plans to take to combat this form of hate in his state, which has skyrocketed since October 7.

The fact it did not do that but rather had primarily personal benefits completely removes the justification for mandates.

Patrick Witty, an award-winning veteran photojournalist, has raised questions over the photos US mainstream outlets used in their reporting on Monday’s attack, saying they failed to depict its terrible human cost.

Witty mentioned Anadolu photographer Ali Jadallah’s photos of the bodies of WCK workers killed in the attack, saying he was “shocked” to see they were overlooked by major US media outlets such as The New York Times and Washington Post.

The April 1 attack killed seven aid workers – three British nationals, an Australian, a Polish national, a US-Canadian dual citizen, and a Palestinian.

“I was shocked none of Ali’s photos, or any others that showed the victims, were being used by The New York Times (NYT) or The Washington Post,” he told Anadolu.

“Instead, the Times used a photo of one of the destroyed vehicles in the convoy. And not even the most compelling version of that scene that shows the World Central Kitchen logo with a hole in the roof.

“Why is this? I don’t know for sure. Perhaps the photo editor pulled the first picture they found and didn’t bother to look further? Or perhaps they were reluctant to publish identifiable photos of the victims? Or perhaps Ali’s photo of the two victims was too gory?”

Witty, who was with NYT as picture editor from 2004 to 2010, criticized the paper’s coverage of the attack on the WCK convoy as “spineless.”

“There were no photos from the attack … only an enormous five-column photo of bullet-ridden rubble that was taken days earlier on an IDF-led tour for journalists,” he said.

Amid Gaza war, US approves supplying Israel with 1000s more bombs

The United States has approved providing the Israeli regime with thousands more bombs as Tel Aviv presses ahead with its ongoing genocidal war against the Gaza Strip.

“The State Department approved the transfer of more than 1,000 MK82 500-pound bombs, over 1,000 small-diameter bombs, and fuses for MK80 bombs,” The Washington Post reported on Thursday, citing US officials.

Reports say the Washington has quietly made more than 100 weapons sales to Tel Aviv since October 7, when the latter began the war against Gaza in response to a retaliatory operation by the coastal sliver’s resistance movements.

More than 33,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed in the brutal military onslaught so far.

The approvals were given on Monday, the same day when the Israeli military killed seven aid workers serving the World Central Kitchen (WCK) charity, including an American citizen, in the central Gaza city of Deir al-Balah.

“The transaction demonstrates the administration’s determination to continue its flow of lethal weaponry to Israel despite Monday’s high-profile killings and growing calls for the United States to condition such support on greater protection for civilians in the war zone,” the paper wrote.

Washington has expressed supposed “outrage” at the killings, and has also called for a ceasefire in Gaza, despite sustaining its uninterrupted flow of ample arms supplies towards Tel Aviv.

Reporting late last month, The Post said the administration of US President Joe Biden had authorized the transfer of billions of dollars in bombs and warplanes to Israel in a matter of days.

Pentagon and State Department officials said the new arms packages included more than 1800 bombs, the daily said at the time.

The report described the explosives as 2000-pound devices that can demolish entire city blocks and were rarely used in populated areas. Israel, however, has used them extensively in Gaza.
