I'm not clear on the rules of whether he could still be considered for any position if he resigned. Doesn't that cancel out his senate confirm? I assumed POTUS would have to only replace people with people who are senate confirmed and still working in their positions.

Q confirmed the email released during the campaign had plausible deniability built into it so that it was not an illegal leak. It was a threat to (((them))) bc they would know that it was def a real email and whoever was releasing it was doing it as a threat.
Someone inside NSA released a real email with some fake parts so that it doesn't violate Nat sec laws. We could figure out it doesn't exist in WL's releases, but (((they))) knew it was real. In other words, a threat. "Oh shit if they have that supposedly erased email, then they have it ALL."
